Manfred and Doris are dutiful in bring you a nice respite from a long day at the beach. Though they are both from Germany, their culinary bend doesn't stop there. Their offerings include some Southeast Asian tastes along with Mediterranean and South American. First thing I ever had from Fernando were his fried calamari a couple of years ago when he was still located directly on the beach. Such a simple thing done so well will make an impression. From his steaks, fried shrimp, to the whole fried pargo he's just constantly outstanding and truly takes pride in his food. Come by and try anything on his menu. This restaurant is special. The chef Aristoteles Brena Jaime makes delectable dishes.The presentation of all his dishes is exquisite. The new addition: SUSHI. The best sushi I have had. Having ordered it six times now, it is consistent, with the same great taste each and every time. Salmon wrapped sushi with grilled shrimp and avocado and cream cheese. 10 pieces with Saki is the perfect meal.The staff are delightful - recognizing regular patrons by name. Welcoming them. Whether with friends or alone all are welcome. Daily specials offered for $7.95 to $8.95 come with soup, fish or chicken served with great sauces and shrimps or mushrooms plus a side of rice, or vegetables etc. The lunches are quickly served and therefore a great place for business people needing to get back to work. Or others, visiting with friends etc. Grilled shrimp plate is perfection, and grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes is excellent. No bad meals at this restaurant! Go and try the Portuguese dishes - delicious!Restaurant is spotlessly clean, as are the washrooms. The Portuguese items displayed throughout the restaurant is a nice touch. Both English and Spanish are spoken.
