Dropped in with friends, the terrace and view amazing the food is fresh and well prepared. Would go back, we turned up almost at the end of lunch service, and if you know this area if the kitchen us closed it's closed - but no problem here.

we visited the restaurant a few times during our ski vacation. Food is not only nicely presented but also tastes great! Delicious main meals (can also order a take away pizza) and nice desserts. Service is friendly. My only comment is to ensure food is served at the same time (guests sitting at the same table were half way thru the meal before the others were served). Worth booking a table if you visit as a larger group. We enjoyed our visit and would choose L Fudle again.

this restaurant offer local dishes at a very reasonable price. this area is very turistic and therefore very expensive. just a small minus: unfortunately the restaurant closes very early so you'll need to booka nd be ready to have dinner very early. i would also consider a renovation if i were in the owner, it is, however, a very good and not expensive restaurant.

Nice service, nice atmosphere. We loved the tapas for starter (peperoni, eggplant, tomato etcetera) and the desert was heavenly. But then the main course / second course: both the fish and the meat dish were far too greasy, and any fresh ingredients totally absent. We both felt a bit unwell afterwards.Prices are high.Other days in the week we sometimes used their take away and had a very nice meal then, combined with fresh ingredients from the supermarket. Just the tapas would be too heavy for our stomach.

The location of this restaurant is very central to Ortesei. Some of the food offerings were very good. The wine list was extensive. And the interior is very quaint. However, the night we were there the service was very poor and inattentive. Some of the dishes were average and with no inspiration. Perhaps it was an off night?Hello Six! truly sorry to read this - please see the other messages and comments, people are always really happy with us. Beautiful located with a wonderful view on le Odle! It's a luxerious & 'sehr gemütlich' rifugio with a very very nice breakfast and great terrace. Go there and you, for sure, will enjoy it very much! Only, do not expect to find total peace/silence of the mountains. You do find it but only at the early beginning of the day or in the evening, because there is a playground. One more reason to stay overnight ;-)

Most mountains huts in this area do offer marvellous view, but the view from the terrace here is just spectacular! The do offer good mountains dishes and the service is excellent.

Went there for Christmas lunch and the place wasn't crowded but still busy. It took the waiters a while to take the orders, as they were really not organized, but it's forgivable, that day.What was disappointing, we ordered Filet Steak and they brought us sirloin. We made them aware, and the only thing was:" Oops, sorry, the chef run out of Filet yesterday"... this implies they knew hat before for sure and could have told us before ordering. We didn't get any discount, just a shot of grappa as apology (we don't drink alkohol)
