For many people Mellon Charles is in the middle of nowhere. And then Aroma Cafe must be near the end of nowhere. But what a lovely nowhere, where eagles, seals, various divers, gannets and sometimes even otters can be seen from the Cafe. It is also a start and /or finish point for some very nice walks.And yes : they serve nice to excellent drinks and food. We stayed nearby and for a few weeks we visited the place regularly.

Since 2016, Bridge Cottage Cafe has been under new ownership and management. The cafe has been completely refurbished, and Ana and Manu offer delicious Galician baking as well as local favourites. Wherever possible, all food is organic and sourced locally

Back here after a year and we were so happy to find the place up the same excellent standards of home cooking and service. The broccoli and almond soup was so different from the standard cafe soups you often find, and the home made tortilla served with bread and a delicious fresh salad was wonderful. They also have a range of absolutely mouth-wateringly good cakes! Service was welcoming and prompt and overall we could not fault the place. We look forward to our next visit!

Stopped for breakfast, and we were underwhelmed by the menu... HOWEVER! When the food we ordered came, it was amazing!!! We had the banana, bacon and maple syrup sandwich, and the goats cheese and apple sandwich. They were so good, we (attempted) to make them once we came home. They were good, but not quite as tasty as yours!!! Would definitely recommend. Staff were also all very friendly and helpful.
