We had dinner for the first time in this lovely setting in this beautiful historical courtyard we took a table outside and ordered a lovely mixed cold meet starter with fried polenta followed by a grilled t bone steak a filler steak and a special calzone type pizza of the house got to say everybody really enjoyed the food and whole experience . Everything is well presented and I would say this is a more upmarket restaurants then some in the area . The place inside looks rustic and classy at the same time a d it's not far from villa Borromeo which is stunning so it's well worth having a stroll around the old town after dinner .

Beautiful, clean, airy and modern décor. Tables far enough apart for not feeling crowded. Service is superb. The food is outstanding. From stuffed seafood, to various pasta dishes, to pizza and finally the "dolce".

Ho conosciuto questo ristorante per caso ... dopo la prima volta ho voluto azzardare un compleanno importante. Quello di mia moglie.Abbiamo iniziato con ostriche. Le migliori che abbia provato fino ad ora. Poi, un tagliolino con il tartufo bianco; infine un branzino.Per un compleanno dolce è dâobbligo !Tavolo ben disposto e comunque intimo. After visiting the Formula uno Grand Prix in Monza we were very hungry so we visited the wonderful Da Giuliano in Losone. The Antpasti came in six different plates octopus tuna, salmone with salad absolutely great. Than we ordered tagliatelle, Spagetti vongole and half lobster everthing was perfect for the eye and for the gusto. Together with perfect and very very friendly service we keep this stay always in our mind and recommend the restaurant for very good meals.

The restaurant was reccomended by a local friend , and it was a great choice . It's only 15 minutes drive north of Milan , in a quite green park .We had a quite couple dinner and we were delighted can by the risotto with porcini mushrooms , the artichokes entree and cold cuts served on a tray of fine breadsticks . The Tagliata with porcini mushrooms was awesome and the house wine was a good choice . We skipped dessert but the re was a wide variety to choose from . Very nice staff , not very fluent in English but extremely kind and helpful ! We reccomend it .

Sono stata 2 volte alla Pizzeria La Rotonda di Varedo, davanti alla quale passo più volte al giorno. Amo la pizza. Trovo che metta buonumore, quello tipico partenopeo, dove è nata ed è stata copiata in tutto il mondo. Essendo intollerante a questo alimento (ahimè!), so quante volte la mangio in un anno, pochissime, sapendo poi che per una settimana dovrò espiare il mio peccato di gola, Quando la mangio, però la scelgo davvero buona. Sono poche le pizzerie da me preferite e stanno sulle dita di una mano. La Rotonda è una di queste. Il personale è gentile, l'ambiente pulito e accogliente. Ho mangiato anche al loro Ristorante e mi sono trovata bene. Idem per la pizza. La consiglio e ritengo sia buon il rapporto qualità /prezzo.

We had lunch here (4 adults), based on Tripadvisor and Google+ reviews on our way back north after a visit to Milano. We were looking for seafood in particular, and for a Sunday noon. The place is quite low profile and not very large.The service was good, authentic (I believe it was the owner). No problem to order two starters and then 3 dishes between the 4 of us. Very delicious homemade pasta and very nice seafood with it. Reasonable priced for the high quality. The place started filling up around 12:30 / 13:00 with Italians...

About ten years ago, catering to changing Italian tastes, most of the Chinese restaurants around Milan converted to Japanese food. Understandable, because the Chinese cuisine they offered was frighteningly reminiscent of the stuff served in the States or the UK 30 years ago, before Szechuan, Hunan or Dim Sum: the same 6 dishes, the same 2 sauces, everything tailored to Western taste(?) like Chop Suey, Almond Chicken, Sweet and Sour deep-fried something, incredibly overcooked vegetables. The places offering decent Chinese food were/are few and far-between, no wonder that the Italian public rebelled. Now, Sushi restaurants and "Fusion" restaurants can be found everywhere, although the combination of raw fish and Chinese restaurant hygiene is not always the most reassuring. However, many are OK, I've got a strong stomach and love Japanese food anyway. Many of the converted restaurants are basically still Chinese under a thin Japanese veneer. One example: if you order "Gyoza" you get Chinese pork dumplings...Oishi Sushi is Chinese owned, but there is a level of care that I haven't found yet in the other Japanese restaurants in the Hinterland: many more authentic dishes (machi balls!) udon, soba, etc. The fresh ingredients are high-quality, and both the sushi and the kitchen chefs are excellent - there's an Italian restaurant down the street - "El Guss" - that could definitely take lessons from their fry-chef! Not super cheap, but definitely worth it, and if you don't want to spend much, the lunch menu is cheap, abundant and varied. Recommended!

Among all Varedo offers, the restaurant of the namesake hotel motel is the best choice you can do. Lunch or dinner doesnât make the difference and also pizzas are good: thin, crispy and tasteful. Most of the times Iâm going to Varedo for working reasons, I eat here.

Literally just left MU Fish after enjoying a rare lunch appointment with the Wife, without the Kids. Suggested visiting after driving past the restaurant last week, we were Customers of the previous Italian restaurant on the same premises. What can I say.... well executed decor, a welcome surprise in Milans hinterland, excellent service, a very reasonable lunch menu with quality ingredients. 1 x Sushi set menu, 1 x Tempura set menu, 2 large Asahis and 2 Coffees, â¬42 total. Left happy, full, surprised and content, will absolutely return!
