We asked for advice at our hotel where we could find a very good restaurant. We landed here, in a setting without heat, without service, good in Thailand that is obviously lost. Finally, we understand very quickly that it was not the very good restaurant we wanted. Indeed, a common Coffee Shop you have a lot in Thailand. With also a "little restoration" without interest. Let's move on, there is nothing to see here. Except perhaps outside, a completely redone road which is my liver completely missed! waves I tell you! Hilarious. In short, this road is in perfect harmony with this sign. To forget.Hi Yvanpolifano, my sincere apologies that the place is not up to you standard. We are aiming to try harder to provide better service and food. Thank you very much for your sincere input.Ps. about the road, it is beyond our control in perfecting its liver-juggling effect. Drive slow! Haha :)

we visited the monkey shock one evening for having sunset on their terrace, which is located under shady trees with a beautiful view over the bay and the islands koh rayang nai and koh rayang nok in front of the beach. it took a time till someone of the staff arrived with the menue card on our table and it took again a time till he came back to took our ordes. we had some cocktails, which were aoverpriced a little bit, but they were authentic and the taste was goodthe monkey shock is component of a big resort called monkey island. also a nightbeachbar is on the area, but we became information the bar is closed. if it is true...we don´t know. generelly the whole area lokked realy empty...we were the only guests there...and this near before sunset...a daytime in which the beachbars normally are occupied very good.

Bodde på Banpu hotell og spiste middag her. Veldig god mat og veldig bra service. Betjeningen hadde dårlige engelsk kunnskaper men ingen problem når en har Google. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

I stayed at the Banpu Resort / Suanpu Seafood hotel and resort. I rented a car from the hotel with a driver. A good choice and we toured the Southern part of the peninsula where you have the ferries taking you to Ko Kut and the other island.I chose a salat and it was not for me. My driver saw this and ordered 3 lovely dishes for us and that he knew I could eat as well. One of them was a dish of tiny dried fish about an inch long. I had seconds on that. Perfect snack with some beers and sweet and sour sauce. The owner Tobi, said that we were the first ones that ordered that in 4 weeks. Lovely.Tobin was fluent in English which is remarkable. He was most helpful, and the prices were not high. 4 dishes 3 big beers and all under 1000 THB or 33 USD. Recommended.If you need help to get there, you can phone him on +699 269 9550

All foods are so yummy especially "Mieng Pla" it is a kind of fish. In my opinion the best time to go should be in the evening coz you can walk along the beach and enjoy the view.

Fresh local seafood direct from artisanal fishfolks daily, depends on seasonal and condition of the sea. Good ambient where you can enjoy the view of inlet canal from the mouth of the river. The place serve as a restaurant as well as homestay. It"s quiet far from center of town - takes 20 minutes drive down a 3 kilometer small alley from the main road. There is no space for parking at the restaurant itself, but the establishment provide a shuttle transportation from parking area provided 650 meters apart from the restaurant which is convenience enough. But you have to have your own transportation as there is no public one in that area plus the road is in the very low altitude area, so if it looks like raining for more than half an hour and you are driving a sedan do not bother to go there as you would have to drive through the area which have high water level on the road!!by As for the food, My friend and I would say that overall every dish was good, fresh, and have reasonable food

They call restaurant but is more a storage place, kind of office, kindergarten, souvenirs shop... completely empty and unprepared to serve food.. I ended up here cause I was waiting the delayed Ferryboat to pick up my friends...is convenient located on the pier but apart from the this.... Avoid the place...

If the place looked as good as food taste it would be too expensive to enter. Nice size portions, friendly staff and your food is made when ordered and to preference on spices. It's a quiet outdoor ( no walls) place worth finding. No sign of the name in English as far as I could see- but found it anyway ( so it has to be easy to locate)
