menu molto vario e tutto squisito. abbiamo cenato 3 sere di fila (poi purtroppo era chiuso altrimenti avremmo assaggiato altre prelibatezze). porzioni molto abbondanti. bravissimo chef!!

Last Tuesday, 2nd July, we took a taxi to Juara Beach for a short break from snorkeling on the west coast of Tioman. The Juara waterfall was nice but not really spectacular. Then we headed to the tranquil Juara Beach for a break. This is an absolutely stunning tropical beach, but much quieter than the west coast.Palm trees swaying over white sandy beaches and azure waters. Tropical jungle as a backdrop.I was dying to try some grilled local fish, so we chose the Juara Mutiara Cafe (attached to the Juara Mutiara Resort) which had a large deck right on the beach.The service was laid back and a little slow, but the grilled local sea bass was so fresh it was as if it had just jumped out of the sea. Fantastic! And not something you could readily get at the more expensive west coast resort restaurants. My wife had a local vegetable and rice dish with sambal that was pretty tasty too, with a fresh local coconut.Of interest was the cute family cat and three kittens who ended up with a few scraps of tasty fish. The gorgeous beach view and very fresh local fish made this a memorable lunch.The Juara Mutiara resort is a small beach chalet style place, just past the Juara Beach Resort on the only road in Juara- that winds from the turn off to Tekek, towards the Barat Tioman at the southern end of Juara beach.

- Overpriced (drinks was 10rm per packet)- Fish was not fresh, packed bbq stingray and was smelly. We did not even bother walking back to restaurant to have it changed.- Waiting time is horrible, waited 30mins for mee goreng, bbq sting ray and drinks.Just do not eat here. Overpriced and not worth it.

I found this restaurant on my first night, thought it was pretty good, so ate there all 5 nights of my stay. The place has quite a few patrons in the evening, so obviously they are doing things right. Had the fish once (35 Ringgits), and it was very fresh and tender. But they put a chilli sauce on it which spoiled it for me. Spag bol is available for 20 Ringgits. Also mixed veges and chicken with rice for 15 Ringgits was very nice. Milk tea or iced coffee is 4 Ringgits. But milkshakes are pricier at 12 Ringgits. Overall a good place for dinner, and friendly staff.You should try our new grill sauce after this. This will never spoiled you. Hehe may God bless you where ever you are now. Don't hesitated to visit us again

Location - outside the gate of BerjayaEnvironment - kampong style..come with flies circling the food too..part of kampong experience. so don't complain.Food - Regular Zichar food. I had 3 meals there for a family of 5. Tried prawns , steam grouper, fried grouper, teowchew steam red snapper, salted egg crayfish, pepper crab.Overall rating is 3/5. BestBest take : if you stay at Tioman Berjaya, this is the most convenient of affordable seafood restaurant ; Also, owner is friendly though you looked really "tough-guy" type.Compared to having meals in the hotel, huge savings. Just he beer would be 30%-35% of the price you would pay in the resort.

Visited here a number of times on our visit to tioman island. Always busy at evening time just outside entrance to Berjaya Resort. Owner lovely lady. Good tasty food here not the cheapest but good quality. No problem with byo from duty free shop. Recommended.
