A bit away from the center is a good thing. You must know what to look for, no casual drop-by visits seen here as much as at the piazza del campo. More locals, less tourists. Therefore dont expect awesome service if you dont speak italian. Great food with reasonable places, i absolutely love this place. Thank you!

Stopped for lunch. The restaurant is very clean and modern. The grilled calamari pink pepper was excellent. Also was the carpaccio with the fresh artichoke was amazing. However, the highlight was their Calabrese Pizza served with mozzarella, ricotta, zucchini and a wonderful salami from Calabria called âNduja that was placed perfectly and not too much as it is spicy but with just an incredible flavor. Similar to the taste of Harissa. The pizza crust was perfect and paper thin. Service was friendly. We were the only non locals. It seems to be a locals restaurant.

Lovely restaurant just on the principal square. 2 floors, with a beautiful wine cellar. Family owned, traditional and very comfortable. Service is fast. I had the best tartare of my whole life! Faraona was stunning as well. Definitely a place to visit if stopping in Colle!

We had a diner with four people and ordered the special menu rabbit. The amount of real rabbit meal was small, only fries and salad were extra ordered no extra vegetables were added. Wine was fine. The restaurant looks attractive, price was good. Desert was fine.

We visited here one evening and received a warm welcome. Our friends whoâd been before and fully recommended the restaurant and it didnât disappoint .We shared the meat platter to start! Wow great meat selection. 4 of us ended up eating it.Great pizzas.When we arrived the restaurant was empty but when we left it nearly full.We had great friendly serviceIf you know youâre going to eat at the restaurant call down before hand and book the tables with views looking out of valley. Superb views.

We found Il Colombaio on the internet when searching for restaurants that have a Michelin star. We drove almost one hour to have a romantic dinner there for our ten year anniversary. If you don't visit this restaurant while in Tuscany, you're missing the best service, meal and ambience you can get. Chef Maurizio Bardotti was creative and the food had great depth and layers of flavors. Andria, our waiter, was so attentive and made us feel at home. This was the best meal we had in Italy and we had many. No complaints other than that we would love to take Maurizio and Andria back to California with us. Ten stars!!!!!

The food is simply amazing. Everything we had tried very delicious and presentation of each dish is fantastic. Portions are small, but after 7 of them (plus 2 more from the chef) you feel more than satisfied. The staff is nice, very knowledgeable, good English. Wine list is super as well, and they have very good wines available from about 100 Euro per bottle, to a few thousands. The night before we had good dinner at Enoteca Pinchiorri, dinner is good as well, but you canât find any bottle of wine cheaper than 300 euro. Over all we enjoyed food at Arnolfo more than at Enoteca Pinchiorri. Very well deserved Michelin stars. This is a spacious and bright local eatery, facing the main road, with a large carpark. They had display counters with cold meats in the outer seating area, and ala Carte menu in the inner dining room. Bright artificial flowers decorated the inner dining room. Little children are welcome here. The service was very slow, and the ambience lacked the hospitality and buzz of a thriving restaurant. You will not be pressurised to finish your meal quickly. The Gnochilini with sausage and mushrooms was good but a tad bit salty. Grilled Scamerita drizzled with olive oil very was tough with lots of rubbery cartilage. Tagliatelle with mustard sauce was good.

You can sit outside and marvel at how the traffic, including long buses, manges the tight streets and corners. We had coffee and ice -cream - they have some interesting creations, even if a bit pricy. Toilets were very pleasant.
