Beautiful location and very extensive hotel with grounds that seem to go go on forever on the shore of Lago Maggiore. There is something for everyone here. Formed rock pathways snake through beautiful gardens and rocky outcrops, past the wellness centre and on to the kids play area and multiple swimming areas beneath rock pools fed by waterfalls. The place I mean was on the lake front street just north of the high church tower in Pallanza. The reatsrant was small with a tables outside in front and a curtain far privacy. It had really good food and lacked tourists

After visiting this nicely located restaurant (with a big terrace) again after 2011, I must say: they were able to keep it up on that high level. Basically it's a simple restaurant ... but: the food choices and especially the preparartion/presentation is just great. Personnel is very helpful and nice and the prices are affordable. Recommeded (also for groups) !

We can only recommend this place for an excellent dinner. The outside location is pretty small but exactly that adds a lot to the very personal touch and atmosphere. The chef is a really nice guy. Personal greetings and always asking if you are happy. And believe you are! The tortillini which are of handmade doughe from the mama is just perfect! Hi there, enjoy yourself, but make a reservation. As said it's an exclusive opportunity you can't afford to miss!

Considering the owners of this restaurant have such great other establishments this is very badly run.The food when it arrived was good but the wait and the standard of service left a huge amount to be desired. Steer clear, save your money, find somewhere else to eat

Food also just standard.No excuse, nothing.Don't go there!Dear Matthias,thank you for having visited us and for writing the review; I noticed the brilliance of writing a review even on Google. A tip: I would suggest for the next time to talk directly face to face so we can dialogue and understand what went wrong.Returning to the dinner. You ordered a buffalo mozzarella with Parma ham and your partner ordered bacon with salami and fried dumplings.At the sight of the dishes you both have shown disappointment (you probably did not even understand what you ordered) and at this point you reported to me that you wanted a Caprese instead of ham.Although it was a Saturday night and pretty crowded hall of the restaurant, I did redo the dish in the kitchen trying to please you.The wine you ordered, half a bottle of Morellino di Scansano, arrived 10 minutes after it was ordered. As regard âstandard foodâ I do not even give a comment.The only fact is that you ate (from appetizer to dessert without advancing anything), drank the bottle of wine ordered, paid for the dinner and you did not even say a word of complaint to the undersigned nor hailed out, showing a deep rudeness.Honestly, I do not think we need to go further.Cordially,Andrea

We discovered this restaurant on our way to Luino. It's literally just 5 minutes drive from there. No problem with parking at all. It's a fairly large modern restaurant which is also used quite often for wedding receptions and other festivities. Therefore it is recommended to find out when booking whether there is a large group dining there as well or not. We went on a Wednesday evening fairly early (booked it for 19.00 hrs.) and by 21.00 hrs. the place was full, even without a wedding or reception !!!!!!! Despite this, we (3 people) enjoyed a gorgeous 2 course meal with water and a bottle of wine for just over EU 100 if I remember rightly. Therefore not expensive considering the high quality of the food. Service was great. No complaints at all. And of course, you have the most wonderful view of Lago Maggiore

We are located on the shores of Lago Maggiore, in Oggebbio. We are happy to offer you breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday from March to October. Here you can as well rent a motorboat without driving licence.

On a recent trip to Oggebbio we visited Hemingways twice - once for dinner and drinks and once for pre dinner drinks. It is a great little bar on the waterfront. Lovely staff - we believe it is a family run business. Drinks and cocktails great value for money and the food, although simple is very tasty. When the sun is shining there is no better place to be relaxing and enjoying the waterfront views. They do have a grassed waterfront area which we guess when the weather is more clement is open for business although not on the occasion when we were there. Views are stunning and overall a very pleasing experience! Thank you to all the staff for their great service!Thank you so much! We are glad that you enjoy your drinks by us in Oggebbio! My partner and arrived quite late after a long motorbike trip from the French Alps . We were seated and brought drinks very quickly. Our shared starter of Anitipasto Caldi ( hot seafood) was just delicious . Then a pizza for him, Americano, freshly made, and gorgeous sole on the bone for me, accompanied by a mixed salad that pubs should learn a lesson from.Despite our late arrival, and being the last to leave, we weren't hassled at all.
