The main street is jammed with crab and raw fish restaurants. We searched around and found this place has good crab prices. The staff was nice, too. Yeongdeok the city is the cheapest place for crab in S. Korea and I'm guessing the restaurant chose their name to be associated with good crab. 1 kg of crab was 80,000 KRW and comes with a table full of side dishes and other seafood. We paid 100,000 KRW for a medium sized crab. We named him Arnold before he was steamed to death. After the meal, the restaurant gives a cured crab head shell and markers for you and your date, family, or friends to write on. They attaching these to the walls and ceilings to make a permanent relic of your visit.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Gangneung regional seafood. I was certainly impressed with the fresh quality products and service. Spicy seafood stir (Haemooljjim) was enormous and full of fresh seafood presumably from the markets nearby. Raw fish (Heo) was also fresh and sweet. Since we had some non-Korean speakers, the owner lady came out and explained each ingredient in the dish, which was very sweet. Overall, a very satisfying experience and i would definitely come back for seafood.
