Well I have Never wrote a Bad review its not my nature.But can't believe how someone serving can be so very Rude.I asked nicely please could we have a light coated haddock. as Where we normally go they are more than happy to do so .then when we got our fish&chips ( the chips weren't nice very oily) And not lightly Battered. Didn't enjoy them at all . please Lady keep smiling you took our money once .You won't have the chance again , How disappointing .Now we know where we go there is a Queue .

Authentic Italian family, noisy and hospitable and so welcoming. Interesting menu with one or two items different from other restaurants including osso bucco. Main courses which did not arrive immediately ( tells you they are freshly cooked don't you think) Osso Bucco, 2 pizzas thin bases with extra fillings and Veggie Ravioli, mushroom in a seriously delicate sauce with a taste to die for. 2 desserts shared between the 4 of us. Lovely Red and White wines £22 and £20 respectively but very very good. Will come again as we need to try other dishes on the menu. Lovely atmosphere.

First time I have eaten from Chez Fred Cod and chips Excellent Hot, Clean and very tasty. Staff very friendly Place was very busy but food freshly cooked most enjoyable

We have been coming for years and we were very disappointed when we came last sunday we waited nearly three hours for our food along with other customers when the food came it was not up to standard if there was a good reason for the delay it would have been better if we were told and not just left waiting very disappointed

We always have great fish and chips here. We were in a hurry so last night we thought we would try the drive through. We pressed the buzzer at the back window, placed an order for a couple of large cod and chips. I asked if there was some ready cooked. The helpful lady said yes, then went of to get our order. We waited and waited and waited. Two cars behind us drove off. I pressed the bell again and carried on waiting. Thirteen minutes after placing the order the meals arrived. Whether the other customers went around the front to the shop I don't know. This is a great fish and chip shop but I think in future we will order from the front of the shop.
