We arrived for a long weekend at Banana Beach Resort and passed this pub on our way to collect our unit's key. It certainly doesn't have an appealing look but when we popped in for a sundowner, we were pleasantly surprised. The menu is extensive and has some amazing dishes that cater for large groups. The locals that pull in are all friendly and chatty. This was the place for a beer and glass of wine on the way home from a day out.
Your Brew Connection Our selection of beverages include Barista Brews, Cocktails, Gin Magic, Craft Beer & more. Our Menu offers Lekker Brekkies, Toasties, Light Chows, Kiff Burgers, Slaai Bra, Boss Grills & Sweet Bru!
We were very enthusiastic about this restaurant, went there and were disappointed. The name itself is giving you a vibe that its a surfer style restaurant and cool people work there with a typical South Coast way of speaking. Totally not the case. The service was extremely slow and the restaurant was not even busy. The waitress looked like she was having a really bad day, rolled her eyes a lot and did not listen when we ordered. The drink orders arrived and it was not quite what we asked for. We received another tables food, but we did not even get a chance to order food yet. The menu had a difference in fries with the burgers, but both plates came to the table looking exactly the same. We asked about the fries and were told that's how the kitchen made it. The waiters are not familiar with their menus. There was a person in uniform sitting smoking and being on his cell. I am not very likely to return. Its sad because I had high hopes for this restaurant. It has loads of potential, but needs work. The balcony with a view of the ocean is a nice touch.Good DayI am so sorry to hear about your disappointing experiencePlease would you be so kind as to email me your contact number so we can discuss the matter [email protected]
The Pennington Ski Boat Club and Anchored Boat Kitchen are situated on the beach in the village of Pennington. The Bar and kitchen are open Wednesday to Sunday serving lunch and dinner mid-week, and Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner weekends. The Kitchen serves
The menu is what you would expect at a ski-boat club including bunny chows (hot curry in a 1/3 loaf of bread), toasted sandwiches and burgers with a kiddies menu of chicken nuggets, fish fingers and burgers. It is right on the beach with a lovely play area for children and cold drinks on offer. It is also not too close to the sea for children to be in danger if parents want to have a drink. But remember, this ous not a 5* restaurant, it is a ski boat club so don't expect haute cuisine. The ski boat club itself offers anglers with fishing boats the added benefit of launch and beaching with tractor assistance, which came in handy.

We were welcomed by very friendly staff, service was good. Lovely decor and had a great friendly atmosphere. The food wasn't bad but not the best fish and chips I have had,we tried both grilled and fried. The prices weren't bad at all I felt we got value for our money. I would go back again.

There is ample parking although we walked from the Wailana Lodge. The beach from that side is accessed via a small park and boarded paths. The building is a delight with hanging paraphernalia and quirky notices. Menu is not excessive but enough to suit most tastes.Service was a little slow but the end result was a really tasty steak. The chicken schnitzel also gained rave reviews. Worth a visit with the added bonus of sunset and waves.

Restaurant was clean and tidy. We sat outside in covered area. Staff member who served us was pleasant and helpful. My brother, sister-in-law and I had a lovely meal with some drinks. Both were good and very reasonably priced. Would visit again
