From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendliness and good service. The play area for the kids is great and they have a child minder too. Perhaps the fact that the play area was on another level above the restaurant was not ideal, but I liked the fact that they installed a handrail just for the kids and soft padded steps so they put some thought into it. At last there is another source of good food in Southbroom. O'Nellys is a tiny delight - almost invisible in its little shop, but producing delicious pizza. The pizza's are NOT wood oven baked, but baked in electric ovens - so you don't get that smoky taste. Another "negative" was that they don't have menus to take home with you and their promised home delivery was not operating. However, the pizza was good, the service efficient and the price acceptable.

I think Larryâs is now trading on their location rather than the standard of the food. I tried something a little different from the run of the mill steak, pizza or fish and settled on the chicken & prawn curry. The food arrived quickly but was tepid and the poppadom was very oily. The service was good possibly because there were few tables occupied and the name boards on the outside section were removed some time ago. The atmosphere was therefore not what it used to be. Smokers on the outside section were also a nuisance.

I have met friends and had a few great meals at Piza e Vino in Melville. The food has always been top notch, and their chilli sauce cannot be beaten! Their pastas are absolutely amazing, and service is always super friendly and fast. Sitting outside is a wonderful way to have a few glasses of wine with friends, waiting for excellent food and enjoying the great SA afternoons.

The worst experience in a restaurant we have EVER received. After two hours our food arrived (my friends pizza arrived ten minutes before our pasta dishes). Bland, tasteless food... looked out for the manager who was happily sharing lemon cellos with other guests. He was amazed we were âunhappyâ and had never experienced this before .... neither had we... drinks paid for and toast for dinner once home at 9.30. NEVER to be repeated.

Situated on the beautiful setting of the umzimkulu river banks, this restuarant provides good food at a good price. The fish is always fresher and the batter better. One of a kind Wood fired Pizzas aswell.

I had eaten here a couple of years earlier and my memories were better than the present experience. The food was OK (although the chips were cold on arrival) but the venue seemed to have lost some of its previous quirky charm. Perhaps that's just me getting older and harder to please. Hi Phil RThank you for taking the time to review us. I hope its not us thats lost our charm. As for cold chips, thats not acceptable. Did you bring it up with management?I hope the next time you in the area, you'll stop by and give us another chance.

The Ant has been around for ages. It looks tiny from the outside but has another dining area at the back as well as an al fresco section. Once you're in off the street it's another world. Great place for intimate conversations. Thin, thin, thin crust pizza.
