The Irish pub Namche is located at Namche Bazar (the gateway to Mt. Everest) withing walking distance of the town's business district. This pub probably is the most remotest and the highest Irish pub in the world. This is one of the most outstanding place

Walking in on Christmas Eve was a pleasure. Unobtrusive Christmas carols were playing, and when one of our party started singing alone, so did the whole pub. Not long after that, everyone was chatting and partying together. A night to remember. Yes, this is the real deal far from the madding crowd. Closed during the extreme winter months, mind you. They closed up on Boxing day until the start of the trekking season 2019.
