Ramses Pizzeria

We went to Ramses for a takeaway pizza (we actually got 3), the first thing we noticed was the price of the food- excellent. They all range from 5-8 euros each. Our food was ready within 10/15 minutes. The pizzas were okay but not the best we’ve had this holiday, however you get what you pay for and the location of the restaurant is ideal (especially for people staying at the Domina Zagarella hotel, it’s only a 15 minute walk). The service was friendly and I’m sure you’d be very well looked after if you decided to sit in with your food.

Kantuccio

I visited Kantuccio after high recommendation from the hotel I was staying. As the restaurant was not within walking distance, the owners of the restaurant very kindly collected me and drove me back to the hotel once finished. The food was delicious and their warm hospitality and service made me feel very welcome. I would very happily go back to Kantuccio the next time I'm in Porticello.

I spent some time in Santa Flavia recently for a family wedding. Meeting became our regular choice for dinner. The food is amazing and each night everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal there. I particularly recommend the salmon farfalle and the crayfish and pistachio ravioli, both delicious! Also the bruschetta is gorgeous. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Antica Pizzeria La Punta

This Place is probably packed in the summertime. In winter it's only open from Friday to Sunday evening. The major selling point is the large variety of vey delicious pizzas, fresh from a wood oven. The staff are friendly, and the house wine for 5€ a liter is very drinkable. For beer lovers, there is a good selection of special beers to savor. Best pizza I had in the area.

Antica Pizzeria Solunto

Reviewed By RobS152

Very good pizzeria with friendly staff and good service. The Calzone Solunto was excellent. What sets this place apart is the stunning view across the coast. The restaurant is perched on the side of a steep hill overlooking Porticello and the coastline stretching over towards Cefalu. Spectacular. And decent value too: 4 pizzas with sides, bottle of good wine and soft drinks for less than 70 euros.

Tanit, an idea set between Solunto and the sea. A journey that feeds on love for good food and Mediterranean passion for hospitality ranging from fish, to meat, to pizza.

We ate a delicious dinner in Tanit. Starter: Sicilian antipasti made of potatoes with additions. Main courses: 1) delicate rack of lamb 2) tasty fish (can't remember the name). Desert: 1)extreamly sweet and aromatic cream of ricotta with pistachio deep 2) couscous made on sweet, both artisticly served. Everythink delicious. We are to visit Tanis again.

....restaurants we have eaten in on our five week Italy Road Trip. We stayed nearby (actually just 50m away across the road) in our holiday home for five nights. And we came here for four dinners....we loved it so much.It is a quite big and very popular restaurant. Not much among international tourists, but popular with locals and Italian Tourists as well. There's a good number of tables inside, but in summer you definitely wanna sit outside. There's lots of space, but on weekends the place gets packed, be sure to make a reservation. We had lots of great food here. It's mostly Italian food, Pasta and Seafood Dishes and Pizze as well. Ingredients are fresh and the kitchen does some nice innovative twists. Many dishes using Pistachio in some unexpected, but tasty ways. Here's a list of the dishes we had:Tomato and Meat Bruschetta - good and freshShrimp / Pistachio Risotto - nicely cooked, fresh Shrimp, nice Pistachio twistSeafood Pasta - a classic; al dente and fresh seafoodSpaghetti Vongole - another classic; pasta cooked perfectly, super fresh vongoleRavioli with Shrimp and Salmon - nice homemade pasta with tasty fresh salmonSalmon / Mozzarella Plate - huge size; great tasting smoked salmonPizza 4 Gusti - rich and plenty; could easily fill up two peopleCozze - freshly steamed mussels; good stuffSeafood Pasta (Fricelli), nice pasta again; very filling!Linguini w/ tomatoes, pistachio and swordfish; another great combination of flavorsYou see, a lot of great food! And lucky for us, so close to our "home" for that time. Service was always very friendly, attentive and also helpful. A glass of Prosecco comes with every dinner....complementary! Also a nice Ice bucket with the wine. Great staff, great food, great menu! It was really one of our highlights on this Italian vacation. We had a dog with, but she had to stay home, no dogs allowed, but we understand that. No minus points for this.Prices are fair, you might expect a bigger bill. We always paid between 45 - 60 Euros. For 1-2 starters, two mains and a whole bottle of wine. Highly recommended!Wanna know more about me and my trips? Check my profile.

Palantica Maestri Pizzaioli

Pub Pizzeria

Whilst the food here is of a fairly good standard, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We wereStaying at the Domina zagarellaOpposite and this is one of only 2 restaurants in walking distance. I appreciate that as a result they are busy - especially between 7.30 and 8.30 but in my book a little customer attention and a smile go a very long way. There are numerous bottles of wine decorating the inside of the restaurant but there is no wine list. Your choice is white or red, half bottle or full?! The terrace is lovely and eating outside is the norm but tonight it rained suddenly and the priority was to get the empty tables under cover - never mind the customers. We had to ask to go inside. We had a very tasty meal so can’t really complain about the food but I don’t feel the restaurant deserves the amount of business it receives from its captive audience. We decided not to come back after 2 visits early in the week but the other restaurant Baja Dei Fenici (which is far nicer) was inaccessible this evening due to a flash flood in the road after a storm. Hopefully we shall return there tomorrow.Guardi mi scusi ma credo che lei ha sbagliato locale...noi siamo a bagheria e siamo molto distanti dal dominal
