Always I am greeted with a warm smile, the staff remember my name and they are very flexible to cater to my eating requirements (gluten free). The food is of high quality ingredients at a very reasonable price. (The Huerto salad & Tuna Tartar being my favorite) The atmosphere is warm and open, it feels like your gathering with family and friends with the layout of the middle of the restaurant but you also have private tables off to the side in the garden for a more intimate experience. First and foremost, I would like to thank Jennifer and the other young lady at the Front Desk. We owe her and the entire hotel staff extreme debt of gratitude. My partner and I were staying at a local, all inclusive, paid in full week-long resort down the road. We were having such a horrible experience we decided to check out of the resort early. To make the story short, (review in this case) we ended up here and everyone was so delightful and nice. The cleanliness of the hotel and service were great, attentive. The bartenders are very nice at the restaurant and bar, especially in the mornings.I was sitting at the bar one evening and noticed how disrespectful most of the american tourists were. However, I did also notice the bartenders at night are completely different and know how to handle the crowd.Overall, I respected the fact that when you check-in the first thing they tell you is ***caution Friday's there's ladies night***

My wife and I and our three kids ate there many times. Delicious food. Jeanneth and Jaime were great hosts. Our kids are young and fussy eaters. They were amazing in helping adapt their dishes to the finicky palates of my children. My personal favorite was the seafood linguine dish. We ate there maybe 4 nights in a week. Came away happy every time. Food was great and the ambience that Jeanneth and Jaime created was amazing. They are both very friendly and speak excellent English.

Small, family run restaurant walking distance from the Turtle Education center. Even though itâs a husband and wife run restaurant the owners do their best to take care of everyone quickly. We stopped on a Tuesday and took the last available table. We were able to quickly order a bottle of wine and dinner, all the time while the owner kept apologizing for being so busy. Yet he and his wife were much faster then several other larger restaurants (that seem to forget about you). Best restaurant in Potrero! This place has wonderful food and the staff is absolutely awesome! We went here 3 times in 6 days because the food was so good- highly recommend the smoked salmon pizza & the seafood linguine. The staff was wonderful and at the end of the night they moved away the tables and everyone began dancing! It was tons of fun. This place is awesome for a great dinner and fun night. Also, the staff were very helpful with providing information about local excursions and all the hidden treasures in Guanacaste. Their delicious cuisine, relaxed vibe, and kind staff make this place A MUST GO TO RESTAURANT! :)

We have been visiting CR for eight years and this continues to be the very first place we go for dinner and our very last before we leave. Whether it's pizza, pasta or any of the other entrees, it's delicious. The menu is the same as when it was previously known as Tubla. Marco and Erica are welcoming and have become friends. Upon leaving for home, I go on countdown mode until the next time i will have pizza from La Locanda.

We have come to El Forno many times over the last few years and are never disappointed. The pizzas are delicious. Lately I had the Scallopini Lemon, and it was superb. The vegetables were a nice surprise, perfectly cooked and delicious. The servers are always delightful ! It's hard to find a restaurant that never disappoints but this one is a sure bet every time!

On a really hot day, sat outside and we were surprised how pleasant it was around 6:00. Cute spot. But the food is certainly the highlight. We love Italy, and much of that love is for its food, it was wonderful to find a truly Italian restaurant in the part of the world! My wife had the shrimp ravioli which was especially good. Weâre returning a second time tonight which we donât often do as we like to try as many places as possible when in a new area. But the taste of Italy always draws us back...
