We get a recommendation for this place from some locals in the city. And we found a really great place with great pizzas and a great staff, very polite, patient, speak fluently english, so we get all informations about all pizzas that we ordered, about igredients, ... so really nice expirience.

This was night before Ironman race so pasta was very much desired and though they didn't have Carbonara in the menu they made it to order - appologizing for using regular bacon instead some special for this dish! Amazing! Friend took Aglio Olio e Peperoncino also out of menu. No need to mention both tasted fantastic and fueled very well for 11 hours effort next day.

Great little unassuming local restaurant located away from tourist area , don't let that put you off. Hospitable , friendly host , good local food , at local prices .You saved us on Ironman week , when we struggle to find , places to eat - GRAZIE MILLE.

I ordered two pizzas to take away. They were made immediately in front of me. It is a really hand made pizza. We had a nice small talk during the time pizzas were in the oven.And on the end, pizzas were very delicious!

We went there after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. The city is dead as it is off season and it was raining, windy and cold. The restaurant was not busy. Pizza was ok but the muscles were outstanding, I would recommend them to anyone. Cooked just right. A nice dinner in Italy.

This place has quite a good vibe.I was impressed by the food i eat here.It was around 21:00 in the evening and i ordered a portion of Gamberi.They were very tasty.The serving time was short,personal good prepaired.Definitely will come again here.

I've been at Pepenero four times and it's always been absolutely amazing! I truly recommended the antipasto freddo and the gnocchi scampi and brandy and the pizza is very good too ( I had pizza pepenero) , it s definitely not overpriced and the the staff is very friendly.

I've become now a regular at this amazing restaurant. The food is exceptional and the service is quick. The staff is funny and up for holding conversation with customers. The ragu is definitely the best I've ever had and even the roast rabbit is very good. I recommend it strongly.

Large plates (tagliere) of fresh cold cuts, the best beef (manzo a griglia) during a fortnite in Italy, all at very reasonable price.This place is crowded, so prepare to make a reservation and that food serving can take 30 minutes.

Horrific service! The waiter ignored us and the group felt as if there was a racist vibe from the waiter. We had a group of mix race and we all ended up leaving only to wait 1 hour with out being served at all!
