third year in a row that we go to F1 in Monza, with hotels at a one hour drive or so ... that way you drive across small towns and roads and then you notice the restaurants where lot's of cars of locals are parked ... we try to have dinner here at least one evening a year, if we get a table !! Luckily they recognised us now, we could get in without a reservation.Where to start ? This is the italian kitchen at its best, in the antipasta their ham with mozza di buffalo is oh so simple but oh so fantastic, in their primo piatti we had a ravioli and the much appreciated spagetti alle vongole, delicious. My favourite main dish is the veal escalope with lime ... it are a few very large slices of carefully baked meat and then they make this lime sauce, added up with a few caramelised slices of lime; this is so so good, and that for not even 10 euro, can you imagine. My oldest took the most expensive dish, at 15 euro you have a thick steak with green pepper sauce, much appreciated I could see.Desserts anyone ? Let them stroll up in front of your table with their dessert rollaway tray ... what choice to make, everything is delicious, only the chocolate cake, that is a real chocolate bomb, very good quality, but simply too much, too bigHouse wine is a bit sparkling in all 3 colors, but we found an excellent chilled bottle of rosé, only 14 euro moreoverThis is the real italian cuisine as you want to experience it, and it is impossible to spend more then 40 to 50 euro a head on it; amazing value, amazing quality

This is good place to eat. Very friendly staff and speak descent english. I have had a hamburger and pizza here. Both were very good. The hamburger was slightly pink which I like, but will turn some people off. The pizza was too large for me to eat. Good thin crust.

The pizza is different than all the other pizzerias in the area--it's all in the crust: soft and chewy, great taste, real comfort food. The tomato sauce is good as well, and the mozzarella is fresh. The calzone is even better than the pizza, with fresh ricotta oozing out. We love their food, but they have strange hours. Sometimes when they ought to be open, they are closed. Unpredictable. This has helped the other pizzerias in the neighborhood!

In general I don't eat pizza as I think of it more as a snack than a dinner. I like Pontello's pizza as they always put plenty of topping on. Its a family place, the service can be slow as only the owners wife serves, and the menu contains list of pizzas without description. That said its not bad service and they will make any kind of pizza you want. In our group buffalo pizza is generally considered the most popular.

We have visited this lovely restaurant with a colleague and had wonderful dinner! Pizza, pasta, the grilled meat and the salad were totally delicious!!! The service and ambience are also excellent!! The owners are really kind and provided us some information with the area. It's worth!!!!

Entrato dalla porta con nessun avventore oltre me ,il paffuto titolare saluta a stento e continua a smanettare col cellulare senza chiedermi nulla nonostante lo fissassi pronto ad ordinare...PIZZA pari passo con l'atteggiamento,scadente per ingredienti e fattura...Vi domandate mai come mai siete sempre vuoti???

L'Angolo è un bel posticino, che offre sia menù fissi giornalieri che ordinazioni alla carta. Ideale per le pause pranzo, e anche se il locale non è enorme la location rende pienamente giustizia. Prodotti freschi e di qualità ad un prezzo giusto.

A real Italian Pizzaria,. The food was very well cooked, delicious, hearty and very cheap. The service was superb with very friendly and helpful staff, it was just like "mama used to make!!" If you love real authentic pizza, cheap, fast service with genuinely lovely people, come here, you wont regret it, even the hoitel concorde, little more than 200 yds away recommended it !! Promise !!!
