A crust nothing less than perfection is allowed to rise three days, leaving little active yeast, resulting in a highly flavorful and digestible base on which are loaded an abundance of high quality ingredients. Add superb care and attention, excellent service, and a family operation intent on providing the best experience to every single customer and you see why the reviews are consistently 5 stars. Our arrosticini and salsiccia were wood fire roasted to perfection. Every time I find myself in Civitavecchia, you will find me at this location.

We were recommended this place by our BnB owner and had a delicious last meal of the trip here. The pizza offerings are very simple - two or three types - and you order by weight or slice. It comes out on a big sheet of paper and you eat with your hands, with plenty of paper towels on standby! Cold Italian beer to match and a lovely waitress who spoke little English (still better than our Italian!) but was very smiley and only too happy to look up the translations for us. We seemed to be surrounded by locals, which I think is always a good sign.

We had dinner there on the 7 August with close friends from Australia. The restaurant is a few minutes out of the port town of Civitavecchia, in an absolute picture perfect setting looking down over the town. We had the roast melanzane and the salsiccia and potato pinsa. The 2 pinsa were enough to satisfy the four of us. Deserts were tartfuffo, lemon gelato and the orange pinsa. All were exquisite.Great service, great location, thoroughly recommend it.

There are several restaurants with a similar name listed, I think this is correct for our visit. It is about a 35 minute pleasant walk south from the cruise ship berth along the seafront past the Pyrgo. Inside is very smart and clean including the toilets. We speak no italian but had no problem here. The coffee was good and we had a table with a good sea view.

tasty pizza with thin crust and very good price.this is not a fancy restaurant but a nice small neighborhood pizzeria to hang out with locals. we stayed at a B&B cross the street, so just walked here to try it out which we were not disappointed at all.

Got there at 5:30 with a group of six. After some translation issues, understood they didn't open till 7pm. Our first night in europe, we wouldn't make it, so the owner opened up for us in five minutes. Incredibly nice. Pizza was among our best in Italy, especially the one stuffed one he recommended when I asked what the best pizza was.My wife ordered a glass of red wine, he hopped in his cart, went to a wine store, and came back with a bottle for us. Total bill for six people was ridiculously cheap, gave a big tip.HIGHLY recommended for a CASUAL pizza meal.

On our last cruise I was faced with a decision regarding a shore excursion to a crowded Rome involving a two hour bus ride. We decided the this was not for us, so we booked a cooking class in Civitavecchia.Our host, Federico met the six members of the class at the port and drove us to his restaurant, ten minutes from the port. Upon arrival Federico talked about his approach to cooking, the importance of using local fresh ingredients and his take on Italian food and customs. Everything was low key and friendly. Since four of us were men with limited cooking experience he took the time to explain and demonstrate the procedures we were to use. He make cooking fun and pressureless.Our cooking agenda was the preparation of:1. Tiramisu, 2.Eggplant Parmigiana, 3.Bologanese Sauce, 4.Gnocchi, 5.SaltimboccaWhile preparing the food Federico had a large jug of "Farmers Wine" which we consumed as we prepared the food. Tidbits of wisdom were passed on during the cooking like; pasteuring the eggs prior to using them, ensuring the egg plant was young and the seeds limited as the present a bitter taste to the food, and stripping the veins from the celery to ensure they are not too crunchy.The class was fun and the information and techniques were presented in a manner that was easy to understand. At the end of the class we sat in the restaurant drank more wine and ate the food we prepared. Federico served us Expresso coffee and Lemonchello at the conclusion of the meal. We were then returned to the ship well before departure time. Our day was a great way to learn about Italian food habits and culture.Federico's email is aquacivitavrcchia@hotmail, and his restaurant is called Ristorante Aqua Pizzeria. This was a great alternative to a fast time to Rome.

On the corner of a traffic circle, easy to miss but would be a mistake if you did.Strictly a local place with incredible mixes of toppings and delicious red sauce. Served by the slice and sold by weight, be sure to try it- we loved it.

Just had wonderful quick dinner at this place we found with Trip Advisor. We wanted a break from the usual Italian restaurants. Took a burger and the other huge sandwich which its photos are shown here already. Everything was just great. Meat was very well made, and the bread is soft and crispy at the same time. Excellent place to stop by. Trust me.
