Cuando estés de viaje en Honduras, o si vives en Honduras; no puedes decir no vas a visitar Kafeto's, es un lugar familiar, agradable, con buen ambiente, con personas especializadas en lo que hacen. No sólo eso, si no que también tienen una buena seguridad. Pueden disfrutar de un buen café, buenos postres,buenos platos de comida con sabor y tradición de Honduras. Mis respetos totales para Kafeto's!!

This past August, I did some traveling over Honduras including Tegucigalpa, Roatan and Copan. There is a small town just outside of Tegu called "The Valley of Angels." Criollos is on your way to the Valley of Angels (cute town) from Tegu. The owner was extremely friendly and sat us inside and built a fire in the pit to keep us warm (the mountain air tends to become a bit cool). We ordered all sorts of items including a mixed meat plate (steak, beef ribs, sausage, chicken), gringas (similar to quesadillas but with tons of different cheeses - one of the best things on the menu), pork ribs, beans mixed with traditional Central American sour cream and a few other side dishes.The owner cooked all of our food for us and brought it out to our table. He was extremely friendly and made wonderful suggestions as to what to eat. He also gave me and my girlfriend a small clay plate that we signed and hung up in his restaurant. The food is wonderful, the dining atmosphere is romantic and family friendly and most of all the owner and his staff are friendly and accommodating. Best food in Honduras. Hands down.

We've decided to hold our after-school Spanish lessons here since it was the birthday of a classmate and we wanted Mexican tacos (we're not so in love with the rolled up and fried Honduran tacos) and it was TUESDAY!!I ordered a margarita fresa and it was light, pink and just the right amount of liquor. My classmates had beers and rum. We order the platter that was filled with chicken, beef, pork and el pastor (lamb) meat with chismol (pico de gallo), 5 different types of sauces, guacamole, Honduran refried beans with cheese and some sort of flautas with crema and tortillas. That was about 475.00 lempiras. It was good and we tore it up! We will go again, on a Tuesday and to practice our Spanish.
