I had a business dinner in this restaurants with several colleagues. The place itself is not too big and very welcoming. The dinner has been an experience that involved all the senses - I loved every single dish that was served. We had amuse bouche - piadina with squacquerone cheese, rocket salad and smoked brook trout - cotechino and tongue with polenta, chestnuts and mixed pickled vegetables with mustard - cappelletti soup with artichokes and prawns - cannellone with pumpkin, sausage and sage and white pepper stock - Artusi 475, a stunning complex preparation made with eel - bbqed wild duck with sweet and sour rhubarb and black pepper. Then we had a custom cake. The wines: Marcalberto metodo classico with the antrées, Otmar Mair Weissburgunder with the first courses, and a Marzemino with the secound courses. Berlucchi for the final toast. I personally did not appreciate the last two - but it's only a matter of personal preferences. Everything we ate was a delight for both sight and taste and was carefully arranged on the plate. The maître explained every single dish and wine without being invasive, the waiters were very professional even though young.

Un bel locale dove fanno una vera pizza verace napoletana. Veramente molto buona forse la migliore mai mangiata. Ho preso la "Scostumata " con il cornicione ripieno di ricotta e l'interno con spessore molto fine con pomodorini e mozzarella da urlo.Mia moglie ha optato per una pizza con impasto integrale molto buona.La cosa molto importe è che l'impasto è ben lievitato e molto leggero perfettamente digeribile .Buona anche la pastiera prea per dolce.Ho bevuto un'ottima birra rossa artigianale molto speziata , di gran livello.Accoglienza strepitosa , la cameriera che ha preso le ordinazioni è molto professionale e simpatica. Ritorneremo sicuramente

The facility is also a bed and breakfast which I stayed for 4 nights, it is ok but not worth the 65 euro per night. If you don't have a car forget it as very difficult to move around The breakfast needs to be improved.

Found this place thanks to this site, suited on our way home⦠located in the center of this small town (birthplace of a famous basketball player), we struggled a bit to find it⦠luckily we reserved (recommended) as restaurant is quite small (indoor); they have some outdoor tables obviously weather permitted⦠Small, cute with kitchenâs view and colourful crockery, a place where can lunch, dine or buy a book to read and a bottle or glass of wine to pair reading moments⦠six proposals for each category, some unusual and daring combinations, we had: salumi and pickles (12.00) traditional start; ricotta soufflé with chicory and garlic croutons (10.00) good yummy; nettle pasta (tagliatelle) with bolognese sauce (12.00) tasty; onions stuffed ravioli grated with eweâs cheese and garnished with truffles (17.00) hmm donât know⦠truffles taste were blurred by the cheese; pecorino is already special by itself, particularly this one (aged in a pit)⦠desserts 7.00 each, tasting of three types of aged Parmesan 8.00. Took some time to have the dishes on our table but when cooked at the moment with selected ingredients, is worth the wait.Service was exceptional by a male waiter, friendly, polite, professional, knowledgeable. Apart of the truffles dish, everything was fantastically perfect, I would happily go back when in the area again.

One of the friendliest places to eat in town, with great Italian food. All pasta is home made with great wine at a good price.Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful in explaining the menu. If you're in the area give these guy's a go!

Siamo ritornati in questo bellissimo ristorante che ha il potere di stregarci ogni volta! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e ve lo consigliamo sicuri di non essere smentiti! Con ordine = degli antipasti degustazione dal baccala" con salsina strepitosa, del carpaccio di tonno + pera cotta nel vino, dell"insalata di mare al vapore strepitosa, poi tanti altri deliziosi che non ricordiamo. i nostri vini preferiti dalla Ribolla al Balange" poi dei gratinati deliziosi e un fritto croccante che ce lo siamo divorato con piacere! Per non parlare dei dolci e soprattutto i bigne" da affogare nel cioccolato fuso da perdere la testa!!! Molto soddisfatti torneremo presto!

Almost a year has past, but our little family's memory of dining at Ensama lives on strong! Chef Sabino and his talented team served us one of the finest meals we've ever had - ever - anywhere! Every course was unique and artfully presented, emphasizing the flavor of the fish or seafood and not other accoutrements. We never placed an order, but rather sat back and enjoyed every one of about 8 courses. Chef Sabino is not only talented and gracious, but his background and credentials are extremely impressive. The location of the restaurant seems off the beaten path, but likely within 15 minutes of most anywhere you are in the Bologna area.
