Booked this restaurant last minute and we werenât disappointed. Having been to Italy on many occasions, it had a really authentic feeling and nice atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was excellent, really fresh and tasty. Staff were very friendly and nice, and service was prompt but not rushed. A good price for very good food.

Never been before came with a work colleague . Had the mezze tapas. Lovely chicken skewers , marinaded in a tasty sauce. Some hummus and other dips. Pitta as well. Great service and good value

Olive Grove is simply great.Firstly, the location is amazing - it reminds of some typical Mediterranean spot and bestows peacefulness.Secondly, the way the restaurant is organised is different from most in Brighton: you get a huge selection of small appetisers to share, but just a few mains. The reason for this is explained on the first page of their menu.Having been visiting the restaurant for the past 2 years, I still have to find an appetiser I did not like. Their taste is simply unique.Would strongly recommend!

We had pre-booked our party of 11, (6 adults, 3 teens, 2 children). We were seated promptly but thatâs where the efficiency ended. We had to chase up everything after that. Our drinks took 35 minutes to arrive, starters came in two separate batches. Half an hour after ordering we were told that one of our chosen dishes was unavailable (although that didnât stop it showing up on the bill). At no point was there any apology. When we asked for the service charge to be taken off the bill, the manager came over, but even he was more full of excuses than apology. They were obviously under-staffed and the staff that were there seemed really fed up.

Spotted this gem of an Italian when overnighting in Brighton Marina and looking for something a little bit quieter and different to the string of chain restaurants surrounding the Marina. Whilst very busy they fit us in and had the most amazing meal with fantastic service.Will definitely be back next time we are in the area. It seems from talking to folk up town that it has an amazing reputation so seems we were very lucky to get in on a Friday night at the last minute. We both had chicken dishes with beautifully cooked fresh veg but everything that came out of the kitchen looked wonderful and huge portions.

Early evening meal. It gets very busy as the evening goes on so you need to book. The food was amazing - ham and cheese platter then Valencia paella. Best paella we have tasted and easily big enough for two. We shared the nougat dessert plus sherry. Excellent service. We decided to visit after reading reviews here on TripAdvisor and the reviews were not wrong. The food and wine were delicious and the attention to detail and level of knowledge and service we received is among the best weâve had anywhere in the world. Mediterraneo is a charming and romantic place to spend an evening and we will definitely return.

A lovely restaurant and delicatessen run by Davide and his team. His food has a homely and yet rustique quality, with explosions of flavour from Italy. There are no adaptations to local ideas of Italian cuisine, this is unapologetically Italian. Donât be fooled by the strange name of the cafe, you are guaranteed a wonderful meal.
