This restaurant was recommended by our private tour guide. It isnât easy to find, as. It is in one of the backstreets of Angri, but it is definitely worth seeking out. Having a bit of an understanding of the Italian food language would be beneficial as the menu is only available in Italian & the owner does not speak any English. However we got by & made the best of it with a bit of guessing. This made it even more fun & we wer not disappointed by the standard of the food. There are fixed menus for 15,20 & 25 euros is you want to make choosing easier. The bill was also very reasonable as we had 4 courses plus wine & water. There are not too many restaurants in Angri but this is definitely one worth visiting

From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. We were the only couple in the restaurant because we were early. Early being 730 because here in Italy a lot of restaurants open at 8pm. As soon as we were seated on came the silent air con. They also knew we spoke English and then put on some beautiful soft jazz in English. It was the attention to detail plus the free tasting of the most incredible zucchini tart that made us know we found a winner. Then the lovely smiling waitress that attended to us. Not intrusive and describing the menu which was in Italian as best she could in English. Now the food. Mamma Mia..........absolutely exquisite!!! We could not fault anything. This meal was made with love, pride and flavor. Thank you for one of the most amazing meals in Italy. Marisa and samuel sydney australia

Before lunch, we were given a tour of the Cantina's vineyard and wine production, which increased our appreciation of their wines which we sampled with our meal. It is a beautiful setting on the Bay of Naples and the lunch was locally sourced and delicious. It was a wonderful afternoon following our visit to Herculaneum.

Fabulous welcome from Antonio, who looked after us so well. We enjoyed an entree platter, an antipasto platter, and a fresh seafood & pasta platter, accompanied by a bottle of his own white wine! All delicious and beautifully presented & served with a proud flourish by Antonio. There was a wide selection of fabulous desserts to choose from....I went for chocolate and my husband for a custard style slice. Yummy, both!Then Antonio placed many liqueur bottles on our table from which we were free to serve ourselves! I loved the the aniseed and my husband the limoncello! Very reasonably priced at 50â¬. I can highly recommend you visit Antonio

We had such a lovely dinner here, the food is amazing and I was moved by the tomato sauce. So tasty. Our waiter Luigi was very friendly and talkative (he gave us advice about what to order). We spent very little and we ate very much :-) a must visit if you are in the area! ps try the "turbante ai porcini"!

We were lucky to drive by and stop for lunch at the Mi Carro Ristorante Pizzeria. The maitre'd Giovanni looked after us exceptionally well. He was patient, kind and introduced to us beautiful Italian dishes. The grilled pork sausage was outstanding. What we have learned from Giovanni is that, 'you have not really tried Tiramisu if you have not had it with a shot of espresso'!Dear new customers, we have only one way to treat you, and that is what you have illustrated. Be courteous, available, always give the best advice even in small things.It is a great pleasure to be able to think that, even if you live so far away, thinking about Italy, you will also think a little about us.Dear Australian friends, Many thanks and see you soon!

Extraordinary service! Really good food with meat as a speciality. We had a vegetarian in our company but that was no problem - a very good pasta was served.
