We go here every year and it is still great. Food is delicious and service is friendly. Inside has aircon which is always a bonus in 38 degree heat. They also have private dining rooms for groups. They have complimentary pick up if you are staying local. We always look forward to our annual visit here. During our stay in Rawai we were recommended Amalfi as a go to place for an Italian menu.This is a pleasant and undoubtedly popular venue. The food was very good. Great sized portions. I cannot fault my pizza and starter.The issue is merely the service. The staff are welcoming and attentitive but they almost get in each other's way, this leads to a hap hazard service with meals arriving at different times and on our visit drinks mid service not arriving at all.I'm on holiday and in chilled mode but you still expect what you order to arrive. Someone front of house needs to take control of the floor.I will definitely go back for the food but not for the service which is a shame as I like the restaurant, but on this occasion I am only minded to rate our experience as average.

We went there for a quick bite, but ended up staying for about 1 & half hours. There was absolutely nothing we could complain about. The service, friendly & efficient staff, the pleasant host, beautiful ambience, good pricing & of course exquisite food deserves 10 stars.We were treated with a lovely basket with fresh bread before we ordered...nice touch. We ordered the carpaccio as a starter and it was DIVINE! This was followed by gnocchi and salad and a lovely wine...each dish fresh, tasty and wanting more.The following evening was our 20 year anniversary celebration & decided to go to a different restaurant...our bad...everything was rushed and noisy. Wish we went to Gastone again instead.Wishing you restaurant all the blessings & thank you again for making us feel we were in little Italy.Well done!!

We looked for European food today and found this place nearby our house on trip advisor. The high rating made us curious. The driving instructions through some backplace roads felt odd. The outside wasnât too appealing. As we ordered the food, we saw the original Italian cook baking the pizzas. Made us comfortable. The waiters are extremely nice and helpful. Was an excellent service. Rapid and service quality. We ordered Capricosa, 4 Stagione, Lasagna and a Tuna Salad. All the food was excellent and 100% authentic Italian. We would definitely come back. We gave the 5 for the food, not the restaurant environment.

We came for dinner tree times and really liked the place as thereâs a really nice outside area and everything is vegan, but we both got sick after each time we ate there. As for your concern for the hygiene, we clean this place every time and we have a maintenance that come here three times a month. Beautiful location, great service, lovely food and given all of the above, we thought it was also very good value. It was the only restaurant we returned back to during our holiday.
