We were recommended here by a local & I'm so glad we were. The outside seating area has a lovely atmosphere and is very comfortable. The food was very tasty and I'm only disappointed we wasted other meals trying different restaurants as I would have liked to try more on the menu. We had the cheese saganaki to start and I ordered the Sofrito for main while my friend ordered the mixed souvlaki. All dishes were fabulous and not to be missed. Price wise was similar to other restaurants in the area and I felt good value for the quality and portion sizes.

I've ordered a moussaka. It was not properly heated (cold) in the microwave. The waiter was convinced it was served straight from the oven. Verry dissapointing, spend your money somewhere else.Dear Ronald,We donât usually reply on our TripAdvisor reviews, but we felt like we should take the time to reply to yours... As you know we were very busy on the night you visited, that does not justify as a reason that you were unhappy with your Mousaka not being as hot as you would of liked, but when we asked if we could arrange something else, you very rudely said take the plate away! At the end when you asked for the bill you demanded that you should have the other plates for free as a good gesture! As far as we are aware in no country can you demand a gesture of good will from anyone! It saddens us that after going into the trouble to post a review you failed to mention how much your partner enjoyed her fish Bourdeto and also no mention of your starters! We honestly donât believe you had a 1 star experience in our restaurant! Thanks for visiting and maybe weâll see you again sometime! Christos

Strange title, but it is unusual to get vegetables with your meal (unless you actually order stuffed peppers or the like) - and very appreciated. This was our favourite restaurant in Kontakali and we have no hesitation in recommending it. We ate there twice, both times the food was excellent. All home-cooked and very tasty. As a vegetarian, I was recommended the baked aubergine dish, which was excellent. Be warned, might be best to share starters, the portions are great. Gigantes were the best I've tasted. The other (omnivore!) members of the family were very happy too, and the white wine was very good.

We had a Greek salad which was very tasty with beautiful ripe tomatoes & crumbly feta.The Sowrd fish kebab was delicious as was the mushroom risotto. All beautifully presented & full of delicious flavours.

This was our first meal in Greece and for 2 weeks have been unable to find anything this good! Reasonable prices, super friendly staff that gave a few tables a laugh, and the food was amazing! We had the kebab portion and chicken portion and both were super tasty. I recommended to everyone we met in Corfu!

There are some nice restaurants in Kontokali but the Bistro Boileau is outstanding. The food is fantastic, home cooking with fresh ingredients. You couldnât get better hosts than owner Sue and her son George. They go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. We introduced some friends to the Bistro and they were so impressed that they went there 3 times in 7 nights. That says it all. Counting the days until we return next year. Thanks Sue and George.

Family run restaurant with amazing food. We were allowed to go into the kitchen and choose the meat we wanted cooked for the evening. The kitchen was immaculate. Food was gorgeous and the staff make you feel like partOf the family :) a hidden treasure and we would deffo come back xx
