We walked through the city to take a look at the street art and saw this restaurant had a high rating on trip advisor. It is located at the beginning of our trip so we decided to have lunch here. We were welcomed by a very friendly man (I think the owner) who showed us a table and took our order. The menu contained only one dish: laksa, and several drinks or smoothies. So not a lot of choice but the laksa was defenitly worth it. Very tasty and a bit spicy, maybe too spicy if you don't like it but I'm sure that can be less if you say it beforehand. Overall very good food, friendly service, and a great location, so I definitely recommend this place!

I was at this resort for four days along with another large group of colleagues. We were attending a Company offsite which included full day sessions, recreational activities and parties. The resort has everything to offer so you can actually enjoy the resort itself for few days. Sun, sea, beautiful green garden, pools, multiple restaurants, karaoke, sports, yoga and Spa are a few to name. I had the opportunity of getting an outdoor massage by an old gentlemen who has been working at the hotel for nearly 25 years. He was very kind old man and there were few similar people providing outdoor massage to guests. Food was good and vegetarian friendly. Loved the view from my room which was full of greenery and trees. Overall great stay and great hotel grounds. Highly recommend.

Kebaya is the fine dining restaurant at the Seven Terraces boutique hotel (which is fabulous). The dinner is four courses with a choice from about 8 dishes for each course at about $45AUD. The service was wonderful, June our waitress gave us a tour afterwards and we were so impressed we had to go back and spend a night there! Thanks June! The food was lovely and the laid-back ambience of the restored old shophouse terrace made for a very relaxed evening.Thank you for dining at Kebaya. We are delighted you had a lovely dinner with us and you enjoyed the tour of the hotel so much that you had to stay the night. We greatly appreciate your feedback and we hope you will be back soon to enjoy the comforts of Seven Terraces.

Pros1. Great food presentation2. Pricing fairly reasonable3. Good portioning4. Nice ambienceCons1. We had pre-ordered some food when we booked the place earlier but they did not take it down.2. When requested for warm water, we were told TWICE they don’t serve normal water and we had to order mineral water. We never said we were not happy to pay for it...waiters need to be re-trained...3. ordered the cendol but it was frozen hard when it came.. told the waiters twice but they didn’t do anything about it..I hope tourists don’t get the wrong idea about this dish..Hi Dear valued customer,Thank you for taking time to review your experience with us. Saw reviews on trip advisor so decided to go. Not disappointed, was full & they never stopped. All food cooked to order so fresh & hot. Not a huge menu but something for everyone including myself as a veggie. Husband had the honey caramelised chicken & said it was the best he had eaten. Dishes come in 3 different sizes so can have a few dishes between your table. £12 for 2 drinks & 3 mains. Highly recommend but expect to wait a little due to being so popular.
