Things to do in Kulai
I have been to this restaurant since 15 years ago. It was located further towards Kulai. Now the elder son runs this outlet at Senai (near KFC) and the parent running another outlet at IndahPutra near AEON.The bitter gourd soup is clear and tasty. The Hakka meat, sweet sour pork and beancurd fish are all our regular order. The dishes are all so tasty that we keep coming back, despite we live 30km away! Kudos to the boss and team who worked so hard to maintain the standard and keeping the price affordable for most.

Refer to the picture attached, I'd ordered the item no. 646 Tom Yam Seafood Soup with Rice, unfortunately the actual food served (Picture 2) was so much different from it. When I approached the manager regarding this matter, she was very rude and unprofessional. Really disappointed with this particular branch (Tea Garden Senai).

I have always enjoyed Dome Cafe in JPO. I chilled out here when it was too early to head to Senai Airport, rest after shopping in JPO, and even conducted an interview with a candidate staying nearby.Coffee and food are pretty much Dome standard. Only thing is service can be pretty slow in this outlet probably due to foreign workers manning the kitchen or counter.
A family of 4 adults and 1 child and ordered 2 bowls of brown rice, 1 bowl of braised pork rice, fish with yam, claypot beancurd, 2 drinks, eggplant with xo sauce, 2 small servings of soup - pork tripe soup and their signature chicken soup. Total bill is MYR246.50 so the cost is not value for money but yet cannot considered as pricey due to the serving portion. Overall the food was lukewarm though we are expecting to have piping hot soup, or at least hot for the 1st mouth. All are cold, we did send them back and request for re-heating and they came a bit warmer and did not justify the quality of the food. As there is a queue and there is no control over the crowd, the the main entrance of the restaurant was left open so it is rather noisy and warm. The staff was also slow in clearing the table, sitting the customers though order taking was okay and serving of the food was not long, but the food was rather salty and it tasted more salty when they are cold. Will not visit again.
Only 5 mins drive from Johor Premium Outlet, Ecru Tuckshop Cafe is the place you can find both traditional cuisines and Western dishes under one roof Menu includes Nasi Lemak Special, Curry Mee, Dry Noodles, Hainam Toast, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Chicken Cho
I came to Ecru Tuckshop upon friend's recommendation.I ordered cheesy spaghetti large and cincau marble coffeeI love the cheesy spaghetti and the portion can be for two people actually I will come againThanks for the positive feedbacksWe have more food and drinks to be tried Come on over
Had late lunch or our afternoon tea at this eatery after hike at Gunung Pulai. We ordered Bak Kut Teh in pork ribs, lean meat, intestine, tou gan, sour preserved vegetables, youtiao and vinegar pig trotter. The pork are all hard, not cooked tender. The Bak Kut Teh soup is nice and we asked for refills. The jasmine tea is nothing to shout about. 9 of us spent RM188 which really filled our hungry stomach (photos show half of what was served). It will be likely my first and last visit as the food is really average.

There seems to be 2 restaurants of the same name but the one we visited was at PTD 82181, Lebuh Putra Utama, Bandar Putra, 81000 Kulaijaya. This was just right after the IOI mall. Nice and clean place so ideal for large corporate function or events. The food is quite tasty too.
Johor, Malaysia Food Guide: 3 Steakhouse food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Kulai
We are a place full with good food & good song⦠We specialized in Chinese & Western Cuisine. We serve Halal food here. Our specialties are ~ XO Sauce Fried Rice, Nyonya Sliced Fish Rice, "Mamek" Chicken Rice, Spicy Tornado Seafood Noodle, Black Pepper Chi
A simple cafe which near to housing area. Most of the staff is Foreign Worker, service is average but food portion is big enough.
The dishes compliment each other! The rice were tasty even if you eat on it's own! Full flavour of coconut milk . The gravy "sambal tumis" too is well cooked. Not too spicy not too sweet âï¸and the fried chicken are freshly cooked ! Crispy & delicious! It is a store located along the shop houses. During dinner time it can be full house so be patient to wait for an empty table but it is worth waiting! I mean it is worth Price wise not too bad . Ambience stall concept perhaps need more effort on cleaniness . Do try their "sizzling " satay too! It is so deliciousâï¸
