The kids wanted Shawarma so we headed to Hiba. Amazing food. The falafels were excellent too. The place is small but still great for families. Everyone is well looked after and attended to by the staff. We will be going again when back in London.

We have been looking for some time for a very good Lebanese restaurant as a couple of our favourites have closed down. Although we have tried several, we have never felt quite satisfied. While browsing on the net this one appeared to be worthy of a visit. So we went a couple of weeks ago at 6.30 on a Friday and it was already packed! We ordered Sujuk and Babaganoush for starters and both were very tasty especially the Babaganoush which had a velvety texture and delicate flavour. The Shish Taouk and the Kofta were absolutely gorgeous served with homemade pitta. Just a couple of minor points, my Kofta was warmish and I would have preferred it hotter while the salad although tasty, was a little bit watery making the meat a bit soggy which impinges on the flavour. Overall I will rate it at 4 ½ as it was a very good meal reasonably priced and a generous portion too. We were also given a small tray of Lebanese sweet to take with us.Thank you Francesco for choosing our restaurant and leaving us this great review. So happy to read you loved the Babaganoush... we pride ourselves on using the freshest ingredients to create authentic dishes that are bursting with flavour.. Hopefully we can welcome you back again in the future and offer you a 5 star service! Very best wishes from the Grilandia team

I went here, based on the reviews here on Tripadvisor, and I'm sorry to say, but it really wasn't great. The staff were not very attentive, and one of the waiters didn't understand anything we were asking... Seemed very lost. It took a long time to get our first drinkes, despite us being the only guests. We ordered the Pre-Theatre menu as we were going to the theatre, which seemed good value. You get 3 mezze to start, but when i asked if i could change one of the 3, I couldn't change it as i wanted. The main, which was Mixed Grill, was very simple. Chicken and lamb skewers were ok, but only came wiht a bit of salad - no rice or anything. Also, the bread to have with hoummus was super dry! Also, the white wine on the list was really bad. I don't normally write negative reviews, but I was just so disappointed - I love lebanese food, but will for sure never go back here again. Ambience is also not great, quite dark and black leather chairs.Dear Carolina,Thank you for your review.I apologise for the experience you have had, As the business owner, I apologise for this personally. The only think i would like to mention is that i have investigated this matter. The waiter served you the food as you requested in the end. The Tabouleh salad instead of the Fatoush. The cocktails do take a while to arrive as they are being made on the spot in our bar next door. The wine was our house wine. The waiter gave you an option to try and change it should you not have liked it. I understand the waiter didn't understand very well what you were saying but its also due to the fact that this new employee is training with us. Hence he took the drinks order from you and the other waiter took the food order afterwards, I ask you have some tolerance with us and other restaurants when food or drinks are late or the waiter makes mistakes. At the end of the day we are an equal opportuinty employer who wishes not to discriminate against anyone. At the end of the day i appreciate your review and your opinion but you must also value our morals. Thank youBest
