What a great âall you can eatâ restaurant with a terrific choice of something like 200 pizzas! We were nicely advised to go eating in this place. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

In Casteletto lived four days. Two evenings spent in this restaurant. I liked everything very much. Price and quality and service.The beef fillet was incomparable. Colmar rings are the same. The desserts are great. White homemade wine completes this list :)

Just a few minutes from MXP Airport lies Somma Lombardo, one of the small towns surrounding the airport where many of the "airport hotels" are. Corte Visconti is an excellent alternative to dining in your hotel, as a nice conclusion to a holiday in Italy, or as a fine dining experience before an early departure to an overseas destination.Charming warm atmosphere in thhe winter, and a nice small garden terrace in the summertime. Family run, very friendly owners. Good selection of wines and 5-star menu. Either before or after dinner, you may include a nice walk by the Castello Visconti Castle in the centre of Somma Lombardo. The restaurant lies in a small alley just by the castle, but difficult to find using Google Maps: I suggest just heading for the Castle and then park in front of it, walking the few yards to the restaurant. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but worth it.

Found this delight of a restaurant via trip advisor. It is in a small village near the Milan airport of Malpensa. The interior was very light, welcoming and homey. They have off street parking, which is always a plus, considering had two people in our group with mobility issues. We were in 4 people. We ate the appetizers which consisted of salami, ham, onions, artichokes and small meatballs. Delicious. I had homemade tagliatelle with a meat filling and also a meat sauce. Very good, only improvement could be to thinner pasta and cooked a couple minutes more. Otherwise delicious. Another plate, bresaola with polenta. Remarkable. Oso buco with rice, remarkable. Oso buco with vegetables, marvelous. Desserts are homemade from scratch and one can tell made with love and pride. Desserts were a mix of sweets from the area and also American. Crostata, apple pie ala mode, brownies ala mode. I had the brownie with ice cream, definitely made from scratch and absolutely delicious. The owners are Italian and American, so speaking both English and Italian.

Everythigs good!!!-nice place outside city but not far from lake maggiore, drenched into the green grass.-optimal value for money...for 4 persons..starters for all...a dish...main or second...2 sweets...1 coffee...water and home wine...about 30⬠per person. Ok-dishes: everything good from starters to sweets...homemade kitchen prepared with bipological ottimal local food.-services: good place...good services...correct time form orders to arrive of food. the place per se is ok, not particularly well decorated, with a nice garden outside. but the meat... OMG the meat was truly amazing. we both had chargrilled fillets, one with porcini mushrooms, and both were enthusiast but the quality and the taste of the meat. bill was ok.

We have been living in the Varese area for three months with many opportunities to eat in restaurants. Il Marinaio was simply the best meal we have had. Unfortunately we leave Italy in two days, but we could not have asked for a more perfect send off. We enjoyed the tasters menu and left all choices to the chef. Preparation and presentation were spectacular. Service was professional and helpful. We only regret we did not find this place until it was time to return to America. Don't let the humble street view dissuade you -- inside is charming and classy. Compliments to the chef!

Very few restaurants manage to get it all right, but Ilario Vinciguerra shows that it can be done. From the moment you walk in the door, it is obvious you are in capable hands and will have an amazing evening. The decor is starkly modern, yet not uncomfortable, somewhat at odds with what you'd expect in this beautiful old villa. Cuisine is a modern take on traditional Neapolitan fare, with a slight twist of molecular gastronomy. But unlike the offerings of Thomas Keller or Ferran Adria, Ilario gives you an actual meal, and not just some simmering fluff on a pretty plate. Service is attentive, and they are happy to walk you through the menu and wine list. Particularly impressive is their wine list, with an eclectic range suitable for any budget. (Some real finds here if you have the wallet for it.) We tried several items from the menu, all delicious. The foie gras torchon and steak tartare were amazing starters, and the main courses of suckling pig and braised veal cheek were both fantastic. In between all this decadent good eating, little surprises will come to the table from the kitchen. Be prepared to leave very full, and very happy.
