We rented an airbnb from Christiana, who owns and runs Pan e Vin Bar. What a wonderful host and cafe. If you can, sit outside to people watch and just take in the view of the beautiful spot. The breakfast was so good. The juice was squeezed on the spot. The croissants, baked goods, and bread delicious as well. Just a charming spot perfect for breakfast, lunch, or quick refresher.

Locale aperto a febbraio sulle alture di La Spezia, veramente ottimo!!! Sono sicuro che se verrà inserito riceverà ottime recensioni.

Excellent food, very good service and unbeatable price. I was particularly impressed by the "Antipasti della Terra": about 8 delicious appetizers of typical local food. I am glad the waiter warned me that it was quite a lot of food. In fact I ordered only the appetizers and was more than enough, all at just 13 Euro. The pasta my wife and kinds had was also very good. Book in advance and, in Summer, select the terrace, as it might be too warm inside near the fireplace to cook the meat.

I had dinner here with my husband, mum and her husband, based on previous reviews. The food was amazing, really tasty and home cooked. The staff was friendly and happy to give suggestions, the decor could do with a bit of updating! Questa recensione non appartiene al mio ristorante ma alla loggia di S. Geminiano l ho potuto constatare dalla fotografia abbinata ed ho segnalato la cosa a TripAdvisor da parecchio tempo.

You shouldn't miss this place if you're ever in the Cinque Terre region - this might be bit far from the centre of La Spezia but it is surely worth the detour. The foccacine, served with wonderful local cheese and cured meats, are to die for, and the main courses and pastas are also delicious. All produce used are organic and flavoursome, and cooked to perfection. We visited twice this week, a large group of 4 families, 10 children, and were warmly welcomed and very well treated. I highly recommend La Locanda del Giglio!!

Da Pietro

Without a doubt the most authentic, local meal we had in Italy. Our hotel (B&B Acero Rosso—amazing) recommended this place. They serve a local dish called Panigacci, which is a round, fairly flat bread, that you top with creamy cheeses (not hot) and different kinds of pork. It’s also available with delicious grilled veggies for people who don’t eat pork. We were the only non-Italians in the place. The house wine was fantastic, and the food was delicious. One of the cheeses—stracchina, I think—was new to me and was out of this world. The service was extremely kind and attentive, and the price was absolutely not to be beat in Italian. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The place was almost full with local people, which was immediately promising. Service was great, and the food was on our tables 10-15 minutes after order. The most importantly: the food was really tasty and it was obvious that it was homemade. Excellent!

We tried this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel. Based on other places we ate, this was just average. They appeared to be understaffed and there was only one waiter responsible for the entire inside portion. It took over 10 minutes to get someone to notice us and put in a drink order. Then at least another 5 to 10 minutes to get our drinks (just a draft beer and a spritz). We ordered 4 oysters which I don’t recommend. They were very small and my husband and I both felt queasy later in the evening after eating. We both had the spaghetti with seafood in aluminum packet. It was ok but limited amounts of seafood compared to other places we ate. In summary, there are better places to eat in the area.
