Sono stato con la mia famiglia in questo posto e posso dire che sia l'ospitalità da parte dei proprietari e la cucina sono veramente ottime. Consiglio i primi con pasta fatta in casa ed i dolci. Ideale per una gita fuori porta immersi nella natura con un laghetto che fa da cornice a questo angolo di verde ben tenuto. Sinceramente non capisco alcune recensioni negative sui bagni (forse qualche locale concorrente vicino a cui da fastidio la bellezza e la ottima funzionalità di questo posto ??!!). I servizi erano puliti e senza odore, anzi il personale è passato più volte a controllarne lo stato. Ideale per famiglie con bambini. CONSIGLIATO !!!

In this typical restaurant in the tiny village of Oleggio they offer a magnificent buffet of starters which includes just about everything you may wish. Then you can order the main a la carte.I found the choice of the starters great but the food is not "top notch" but just average. As main we tried a risotto and a soup and they were both disappointing.To counterbalance this the prices are very reasonable, although they won't tell you how much the starter and the main cost until you pay, which I found very annoying.Book in advance because it gets busy.

Was recommended by a colleague! Was not expecting the entrance or the location of the restaurant.But none of that really mattered once you were seated.The lunch menu was restricted with the three course menu having several choices for each course, and associated costs for each course, which was very reasonable, particularly in regard to the quality of the courses.We both had a mixed anti pasto, which was substantial, and varied rather than just meat and cheese. We then both had a meat main, also large and very good quality! We were seated outside which was very pleasant, but plenty of seating inside, which has a dated but charismatic old style Italian feel. A pleasant experience.

ci siamo recati in questo ristorante usufruendo di un groupon.locale molto carino, pulito e arredamento curato.abbiamo scelto menù di terra: antipasto, primo, secondo e dolce, il tutto preceduto da un gnocco con lardo.buoni gli ingredienti e la preparazione, curata la presentazione e perfetta la quantità .personale disponibile e pronto ma per nulla assillante.aperto da solo 2 anni. merita un ritorno per gustare appieno la carta lo consiglio!

We tested this delightful countryside restaurant/banquet hall on a weekday evening. The fixed price menu was available, as it is even on Saturday lunch. The food was inspired, the service perfect and the surroundings delightful.This immaculate establishment has possibly the cleanest toilets & kitchen of any Italian restaurant I have ever visited, but finding is a bit of a challenge unless you have Google maps, and even then you could be on a dirt track for much of the journey (tip: check the satellite view)Handy for Malpensa airport, it retains a tranquil charm near the banks of the Ticino. It does get VERY busy on Sunday lunch, so book ahead and arrive before midday if you want to park in the shade.All our friends were impressed by the food, service and environs. no effort seemed too much for this enterprising team.

Initial greeting was a a bit odd. The 2 of us Sat at a table for 2 outside...a waitress appeared and asked "per due?". Seriously?Decent beer on tap but nothing special. We ordered the mixed meat grill which was just OK by again nothing special. Bulked up with very ordinary frankfurters and with a really gristly piece of steak!Also why was the beef from Ireland ? I understood Piemonte was famous for its beef! Slapdash service from all but one waitress meant it does not deserve to be number 2 in town in our opinion. Marechiara is much better!

Recommended by our B&B host this restaurant was the perfect place to finish our 3-week Italy-Croatia holiday. Partner thought the fresh lobster gnocchi was the best she had eaten while my plain-sounding fish soup was more of a seafood platter .... amazing for taste and value.
