Comfortable seating outside, good service, very good food â This restaurant is one more venue in this town that has been able to maintain a quite good standard over the last few years, and thatâs properly reflected in the customerâs high rate of return.This time we had âbaccalaââ, thatâs salted codfish, a very traditional Italian way of preparing cod. Spaghetti with baccalaâ were very good, the fish was tasty and tender and the sauce delicious. Also the pizza with baccalaâ (a version of pizza not easy to find) was really good.Definitely a restaurant to keep in mind also for friendsâ invitation.

La pizza è davvero ottima! Buoni gli ingredienti, abbondante ma comunque leggera. Il locale, oltre ad essere ai piedi del Pollino, è facile da raggiungere in quanto si trova a qualche centinaio di metri dallo svincolo autostradale di Campotenese ed è molto accogliente e pulito. Aperto anche a pranzo come ristorante. La pizzeria dispone dellâabbonamento a Sky, buona notizia per gli appassionati di calcio. Il giovane pizzaiolo, figlio dâarte, è una persona squisita. Simpatici e cortesi anche gli altri membri dello staff. Servizi igienici ok. Ci ritornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio!

The food was excellent as was the service. All local dishes,prepared perfectly . Antipasto was about 5/6 items all very fresh and tasty. And their steak was perfectly seasoned and prepared.nalso lemon ice cream so yummy!...extremely reasonable prices.,,

We were recommended this restaurant by our B&B owner. The restaurant had good ranges of menu with meat, fish and vegetables. The dishes were delicious with not too typical of the dishes. I had marinated salmon with pistachios and it was great! The shef seems experimenting with menu therefore few interesting, unique menu such as angel hair spaghetti with saffron and squid. It was something I never tried before and I think it's depend of people's preference of flavor but I liked it!The stuff and shef were very helpful for us to pick from the menu, tried to explain if we did not understand the Italian. They also prepared nice dish of vegetables for vegetarian in our group and there were beautiful.Nice that there is an outdoor area to sit and enjoy the night in this local restaurant.

We went now twice to La Cantina, the food is very good and low priced. Fusilli con pomodore is excellent, same for the cavatelli with meatsauce and the cavetelli with porcini. The pizza has a bit too much mozzarella making it a bit too heavy to eat it all. Grigliata mista is very nice, but beware that the sausage is very spice. If you know that the house wine is 4 euro for a litre, of course youcan drink the spicy feeling away. Advice to go there a bit early, as La Cantina is very popular here so many guests.

Quite a quaint place in the lower part of Morano's amazing old city where you can enjoy a delicious, non classically fixed yet very interesting pizza. Service is good and the house wine is quite palatable.

Recommended by friends, this is a very local meat restaurant where the proposition is simply a wide variety of home-raised meats cooked to perfection and served either in the simple dining room or (better if the weather isl with homemade pickles; three small bowls of tripe, sausage and eggs, and heart (simply delicious if you are an offal fan, you can choose other things if you're not).Star of the show was an enormous T-bone (fiorentina) steak which was precisely cooked, juicy and packed with flavour. And incidentally a little more than even we could manage!Around us various other family groupings were happily tearing into enormous plates of meat pastas, various types of steaks, veal, pork and so on. The ladies serving were lovely, the food was amazing and the bill relatively small. Perfect.Top tip would be to check out a few words of Italian for meat dishes before you go!

Wanting to eat lunch as we drove into Morano Calabro, Italy we saw the signs for this fine eatery. We were so glad we did as we had a delicious light lunch.. Most items had fresh fish in them so if you are not interested in eating fish you might not find much to choose from on the menu!
