We went here as part of the Food and Wine/Ferrari tour with Amazing Italy and I am now starting to think that there are no bad restaurants in this region! The pastas were amazing, my favourite was the spinach and ricotta tortelloni. They served a perfect 6 course meal with just the right servings. The restaurant is beautiful and if you go upstairs at the right time, your might catch the staff making fresh pasta in the upstairs kitchen. This was such a good experience.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Opera 02 this October. This agriturismo is a perfect blend of farmhouse meets modern luxury. We were greeted by a friendly staff who maintained a quality of service that is rarely found anywhere we have ever been. The rooms were very comfortable with gorgeous views from each patio. Opera 02 makes their own wine and balsamic vinegar and both are fabulous! We are at the end of 2 weeks in Italy traveling from Rome to Emilia Romagna and Cinque Terre, The food at Opera 02 is the BEST we have had on our entire trip! First class service combined with delicate yet flavorful food and great wine. We are ready to go back and are certainly going to recommend Opera 02 to all of our friends. Thank you Opera 02 for a memorable vacation in such a special part of Italy.

We have been here several times, we have visited more popular agritursimos such as Opera02 but always come back. The reason is simply that there is no better option than this one.Breathtaking views? CheckFood cooked by the ownersâ mum? CheckExtra portions if you ask for it? CheckGnocco fritto, prusciotto and salame? CheckUnlimited amounts of lambrusco? CheckIn summary, there is no where else you can experience the Modenese cuisine better than here, in a condensed and hence overwhelming form.

This resturant is well located and has a great ambience. The food was of very high quality and freshly prepared. We tried the traditional Gnocco/Tigelle which were delicious, especially the ones with nutella! The service is super and very efficient (and there is an excellent English speaking waiter too, Enzo!) Highly recommended!

This was one of the best meals of my life. I tried almost every pasta and they were all mind blowing. The tortelloni with pumpkin ragu sauce was hands down one of the best pasta dishes of my life. Another highlight was the "priest hat" which is a pork dish. We accompanied the meal with a lambrusco from the region. The prices are very affordable. I've been there For a birthday dinner. Se tried both dishes of the day...fair enough but nothing special... Many types of food mixed but average quality.Then we went for a traditional food: particular taste but very strong and tough. To be honest, we spent quite a lot compared to other similar places.Location is wonderful

Agriturismo San Polo Via San Polo 5 | Modena, 41014, Castelvetro di ModenaWhile on a day outing to see some parmesan, balsamic vinegar and Parma ham factories, we ended our outing here with a light lunch and some wine tasting. The 100+ acers of vineyards, apartments and a restaurant was owned by an eclectic chef named Paolo. Paolo prepared a delicious lunch for us which consisted of bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and grated cheese, a zucchini soup (more like a puree) prepared with pureed potatoes and hers, tomatoes and mozzarella âall fresh from his garden along with some cured meats (prosciutto and salami) with homemade bread and the creamiest cow cheese I have ever had melted on top! We sampled some reds and whites and was so full and satisfied that we are determined to come back here one day! After eating so much pasta, fresh vegetables is what we craved. It was so delicious, yet healthy. If you are anywhere near Emilia Romana/Modena/Castelvetro area do not hesitate to make accommodations here. As we planned our tour of the Modena/Parma regions, we looked for interesting places and found Locanda Del Feudo. USA based reservation services showed no availability, but an Italian friend had no trouble securing two rooms for us on our desired night. Extremely cute and highly recommended!

Every time I travel to Modena I have to find time to visit Piccadilly, located in Baggiovara, a small town close to Modena.Excellent, thin pizza, italian original style.Kids and wife love there as well.Service is very friiendly and efficient.As a bonus, there is a very good ice cream shop beside.

Ottima esperienza, a partire dai gustosi crostini, per poi passare all'abbondante tris di primi, buonissimi. Alla fine gli assaggi misti di dolci hanno concluso degnamente un pasto delizioso. Personale gentle e cordiale, conto al di sotto delle aspettative. Torneremo, e lo consigliamo!
