Ate here on our first night in tuscany last Saturday. Thought at first thst we would not get in as not booked but waiter ran round to sort table for us. Helpful over translation of menus and food very good. Only draw back was over an hour between courses but have not reduced stars because that's how the Italians eat. We were knackered.

We had lunch after having enjoyed the adventure park, and the food was just delicious! Very good value for money, and the service was very nice! ...Circolo Arci Piazza Guerrazzi Nr. 8 in Castellina Marittima - das war mal eine TOP-Adresse! ... und jetzt .... stimmt jnur noch die Telefonnummer und nix ist wie vorher - sehr sehr schade -. Besuch am 8.6.2019: der Rotwein kann man gelinde gesagt für einen Glühwein (und das im Juni!!) servieren aber nicht für einen gut temperierten Rotwein, die Eiswürfel haben nur das "Gesöff" verwässert mehr aber nicht, wir haben es stehen gelassen. Und weiter: meine Pizza war eine reine Katastrophe, den Rand konnte ich fast nicht essen, der Innenteil der Pizza war überhaupt nicht gebacken also ROH, war nur ein Mansch und so sind wir fast hungrig weggangen. Der reduzierte Preis konnte uns auch nicht besser stimmen, sehr sehr schaden, die Arci-Bar war immer eine gesagte Bar mit sehr guten Pizzen, aber das war wohl mal ............

I used this restaurant several times for Pasta, Fish, Seafood and Pizza. Pizza is good and grilled fish or other grilled item is a good choice. Pasta is average considering you are in Italy and you can have much better options in other places.Location is very nice. In that area this restaurant is the best option, if you do not want to travel to other city. Also good if you are in a hurry - they can make a pizza in less than 15 minutes (even 10 minutes if not crowded).

Superb restaurant which serves typical Tuscan dishes: they the tagliata (sliced beef) or the wild boar. You won't be disappointed. The antipasti misti are among the best I ever tasted. .

I have been in this place for dinner.We took appetizers, main course and dessert. No wine. Overall, the menu was varied and well exposed. This indicates a great passion of restaurateur in their job.An antipasto misto well presented, excellent cured meats and especially the fantastic pie boar.A stunning second: the wild boar riparbellina with roasted potatoes. I assure you that is the best boar I've ever tasted.Finally a great dessert: apple pie with mascarpone.Concluding: perfect dinner, excellent food quality, very good preparation and presentation of dishes, good price: 30 euro.Fast delivery of dishes.Try it.

We came across this restaurant totally by accident driving the back roads between the coast and Volterra. The external appearance is very " rural village " and we were unsure what we would find on the inside-but it turned out to be very nice. The staff made us welcome and we had a very tasty basic, typically local meal. We were not offered a written menu,the food of the day was given verbally so it was a bit of fun figuring out what was on offer, but it was all done with good humour.The only note of caution is beware of the toilet...apart from the pictures on the wall-it is of the squat ( hole in the ground )variety...but that is a minor inconvenience.

We ate here twice during a holiday in Tuscany. The first time there was a set menu at an excellent price which included local specialties such as pasta with wild boar sauce and rabbit. The second time we chose à la carte and thoroughly enjoyed very interesting dishes such as duck in a chocolate and pine nut sauce and steak with different original sauces. Good prices and excellent service. We sat outside as it was August, but the interior looks great.
