We had a very pleasant dinner in the nice town of Borgomanero. It's a good choice away from tourist restaurants near the Orta lake. Pasta propositions are excellent and original ! For dessert, try the selection of cheese or the marvelous tiramisu. Off course, don't forget to appreciate a good bottle of wine from the region (Gattinara DOCG from Antoniello was a nice try !). Last but not least, kids are welcome.

Un pranzatto di lavoro al volo..Entro senza avere nessuna particolare aspettativa e ritrovo un posticino molto accogliente, piccolo e ben arredato..La titolare molto educata e disponibile.Primo con broccoli e salsiccia!Ottimo!Prezzi nella norma!Consigliato!!!

Been coming to the area off and in for over two decades. Never been to this place. Only went there as my first choice was closed (Olimpia- Veruno). Lucky me. Started with a pre antipasto, a Gorgonzola mousse of sorts. Must admit I like Gorgonzola, and I like it strong. This was stupendous. Literally finger licking good. I followed with Ravioli- not the usual shape more rectangle parcels than the. Square ones but really superb. Followed that with Lamb, quite exquisite. Was in Two minds about dessert, decided it would be too good to miss and must give it a try. Asked for a taster which was 4 mini portions. 1 was exceptional, (Mirtilli something) 1 was good (ricotta tart with strawberry purée ) 1 was adequate (chocolate cake) and 1 (cheese cake) not worth spending the calories on, so I left it. The owner & chef is Sabrina who I was told is mostly self taught and has won competitions. I would not be surprised if this place gets in to some good places as well worth 1 star. She is definitely going places.

Delicious pizza. Take away is from the establishment. If you wish to sit down they will point you the little place next door (same owner, don't be alarmed). When we visited, the staff was friendly but didn't speak English, but with basic topping names in italian you'll be fine :) they also have wide variety of pre arranged toppings.

E' stata l'immancabile location tra i 20 e 30 anni fa delle nostre cene di chiusura campionato. Da Paniga, dove ancora studentelli universitari si beveva, si mangiava e si parlava di f...antacalcio. L'ambientazione è rimasta anni 80. Il menù degustazione molto easy e forse un po' banale (tagliatelle speck e asiago e grigliata con 4 pezzi di carne ricordavano più una trattoria che un ristorante). Vino alla carta buono. Servizio lento. A volto meglio vivere nel ricordo.

A very upscale trattoria that could definitely compete with any upscale restaurant. Very good selection of appetizers, salumi, even foie gras. Classic Primi including, risotto with fungi porcini (in season), agnolotti etc. Wide selection of meat and some fish Secondi and a wide selection of local cheeses. Very good wine list with wines of some of the best producers in the Gattinara and Ghemme region. Overall, a very good dinner.

Interesting restaurant with exceptionally high quality food. Not the most obvious environment for a classy restaurant but the dining room is nice, staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant, the tasting menu was six courses long with very expensive ingredients but the two of us ate for less than 90 Euro (admittedly no wine but we did have bottled water). Not to miss if you are in the Borgomanero area.

We ordered a pizza kebab and a pizza naturale. Very tasty and good quality. Friendly atmosphere and waiters. Correct price. Nice you don't have to pay coperto.HoweverI would like to make the following suggestions:1) there were too many flies zooming around; something could be done about that; 2) knives were not sharp to cut the pizza, and the special shape of the forks make it difficult to put pressure while cutting the pizza; 3) waiters keep the place clean but it is not very tasteful that they use cleaning spray in the neighbourhood of other tables while customers are eating. All in all, a good experience.

We just had an unbelievably good 7 course meal for 20 people from our golf society, the wine was excellent and all at a fantastic price. We will definitely be going back again. The family and staff running the restaurant are wonderful. If you are in or near Borgomanero, do yourself a favour and give them a call. Ci fermiamo venerdì sera in questo locale molto carino , cameriere gentilissimo e cibo a base di pesce tutto davvero ottimo!!!!! Ci tornerò sicuramente con la famiglia ....... e senza parlare del profumo di pizza!!!!deve essere eccezionale!!!! Complimenti!!!
