My visit to Vechio Mulino was purely by chance as the restaurant at the Agriturismo Cascina Boschi where we were staying was closed one evening. We were surprised to find such a fine restaurant in this rural part of Lombardy. Developed from a rural mill over a river that still drove the mill wheel while another section flowed under the building and could be viewed through glass floor panels in the reception.Tastefully decorated with perfectly set out tables the pleasure of the evening started as we walked through the door. Attentive staff looked after us while the owner assisted and conversed with his regular customers. The food was varied, fresh and well prepared and presented so this restaurant is on my must visit list next time I am in this part of Italy.Good Morning,following your review, we wish to thank you a lot for your beautiful description ofour restaurant. The restaurant is situated almost in the middle of the river. You can sit outside by the river or inside with air conditioning an no mosquitos! The menu is good value. There is a huge range of aperitifs and cocktails from â¬3-5, including non-alcoholic ones. We had the tortellini tasting menu. Portions are the perfect size to enjoy the food. The waiting staff are very friendly and spoke great English to me (and helped me when I attempted Italian!) explaining how the dishes were made. All in all a lovely evening.

.. restaurants to go (that is an absolutely rich choice area), this place impressed me, positively, because it combines old traditional cousine of this territory (which I adore) with new worldwide cooking trend. The chef is young and not scared to revise milestone dish in modern key.Regarding the cellar, well, here tradition wins broadly. Restaurant is located inside the ancient walled village which is worth to be seen. That medieval atmosphere is magic!

A beautiful restaurant with excellent pizzas! The crust is very thin and crispy. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The tomatoes are sweet. The restaurant and gardens are well maintained offering an optimal dining experience. Great for an evening out with friends or families.

Il ristorante, consigliato da un amico intenditore, è attiguo alla strada principale del paese, purtroppo poco visibile, con un comodo parcheggio pubblico quasi di fronte.E' composto da due salette accoglienti, arredate in modo semplice ma elegante.Personale professionale e molto cordiale.Per iniziare ci è stato offerto un ottimo flute di spumante di Lugana.Come primi abbiamo scelto i fusilloni con bottarga e gli spaghetti con limone e gamberi rossi, entrambi squisiti.A seguire trancio di ombrina con pomodorini e polipo caramellato con purè ed olive taggiasche trattate, tutto freschissimo con un buon connubio di sapori.Per concludere due dolci buoni e particolari.Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto.
