Cheap food, great service, dossas to die for (we had the masala dossa with potato). Also had a refreshing mint lemonade drink. Also quaint decor and clean. Only downside: no wifi. No biggie though as the manager helped us to book an uber through his cellphone.Highly recommended.

We spent a Valentine's evening at Aroma which is in an unexpected location and whose decor is simple and clean. Here's where it all changes, the set menu was absolutely out of this world from melt in your mouth entrees to the substantial mains with sorbet in between. Dear Norman,Thank you for a lovely review! The Aroma Family prides ourselves on being true to North Indian cuisine whilst creating our own spin on things, like our decor and creating unique, mouthwatering set menus for special occasions. We thoroughly enjoy doing it and it makes it all worthwhile when we have patrons, like yourself who appreciate the love we put in. Was craving for a traditional desi Pakistani curry and was recommended this place by friends. Be warned to be careful as this area fordsburg is notorious for its crime and I would recommend you go in groups. Saying that I got no bother at all and me and my brother both walked the Main Street, Mint street, parked our car in front nearby and paid a local 10 rand to keep a eye, I think thatâs there self made job as they all offer there parking and security services lol. Donât be afraid these guys are humans and they do talk. I would say like most countries itâs the minority that mark this beautiful country. As for the food at this place it was ok and if Iâm really hungry I would go again but unfortunately nothing to rave about.

Easily accessible and a wide variety of dishes. Buffet style served for certain meals. Check website to get a guide.Venue is spacious. Try coming during week day to enjoy buffet at leisure. Some meals are abit spicy so enquire beforehand.A good variety to appeal to all taste buds
