Had a takeaway from here a week ago whilst visiting my sister's lodge in Breydon water park. It was delicious. There were eight of us eating and everyone enjoyed it. We are all curry fans so quite a difficult audience to please! From the onset a very pleasant girl on the phone during the ordering process, the delivery time was very good and a very nice delivery man. There was nothing to fault. Food was still nice and warm, plenty of it, beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced indeed. I wish I lived nearer, I would work my way through the menu!! If anyone from flavour mahal reads this, why don't you drop some of your menus into the office at the main area for visitors as when I asked about Indian takeaways nobody knew where there was one close by. Well done you on all counts. Highly recommend

Bangla Nites Indian Restaurant can be found at 12 Lowestoft Rd, Gorleston-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth NR31 6LY. It is very near the traffic lights and opposite the Library. Food is eat-in or take-away. Delivery is free for orders over £15.00. Telephone: 01493 442121. Opening times: Every day from 5.00 - 11.30, including holidays, but not Christmas Day.We were recommended to Bangla Nites after frequenting another restaurant for years. It was magnificent. We booked a table and every dish was so much better than what we had been used to. Each dish was fresh and you could tell the popadums were just fried to order. The wines are an excellent price, as are the spirits and beer. Coffee is only £1.20.I counted about 20 starters! The main dishes are group into 9 varieties, so get there early so you can read the Menu! Service is done with the minimum of fuss and delivered speedily and is hot. They will deal with special requirements if they can. They boast fresh ingredients and they use no artificial food colourings.

I like to visit this restaurant whenever I'm in the area, and have used it for many years,and with good reason. The food is excellent, with good flavour and portions and value for money. The staff are always friendly and helpful and create a great atmosphere. If you're visiting Gt.Yarmouth this restaurant is well worth a visit.

We was unable to get a table at our usual indian restaurant due to being fully booked so after reading the reviews here decided to give it a try. We had a warm friendly greeting. We ordered drinks along with lovely poppadoms. We went on Wednesday so chose off the meal deal menu £11. My partner chose stuffed pepper. Which he enjoyed. My chicken chatt was rather tasteless more of a paste instead of cubes of chichen. Also the chicken was stringy.My chicken tikka again lacked flavour while my partner 's lamb pasanda although plentiful was a little tough. The rices and sagalo enjoyable. The staff were pleasent but food just lacked flavour. But presented ok

What a meal.... absolutely fantastic. Raj and the crew there were great. But the food was fantastic. Well presented, tasteful and really good portion sizes. I pass this about 8 - 12 times a year and have only just ventured in.... but now.... so glad I have. One of the best Indians I have had in years......

I consider this as one of the finest Indian restaurants in lowestoft/great yarmouth area. You need to book a table well in advance if large group but just a couple they will try squeeze you in. Very friendly staff and good service.
