Whilst staying at Hellidon Lakes we fancied a change so gave Daventry a try, came across the Culinary Indian by chance.No wait even though it was a Saturday night,Ordered starters which were excellent wife says the Garlic King Prawn was the best she has had, my mixed Kebabs were very good.Our mains of Malaya Chicken and Chicken Korma with Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan weâre both tasty and filling.With drinks and a total bill of £41 we were very happy.The staff were all very pleasant and certainly nothing like the previous reviews.Had we read the last few we probably would not have tried but are so glad we did.If back in the area it is certainly top of our list to go back to.

Hi people we ordered curry from Indian chef today after listening to my friends how tasty food was... we normal go indian restaurant which is average but we have no choice unless we travel Banbury or daventry. But we thought we will try Indian chef last weekend we order by phone gentleman answer phone was very polite and helpfull. Our order took 1hr 20min but they did say, they are busy which was fine. Food came hot and so delicious even my young daughter loved the food. Even we got email to say our food dispatch and we got our table ready and email again to say how was our food, we were so impressed with very touch service. Looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch haven'i been in here for over 10 years and wow lovely inside, very clean, nice decor and tables well spaced out. The choice of meats and their tenderness is first class and you get plenty as well, there are 5 vegetables to chose from (including an amazing cauliflower cheese) as well as roast and mashed potato - and these are for you to help yourself from. they didn't have any desserts on the menu but to be honest i was too stuffed from my meal.great value for money and the drinks are not expensive either.The staff are friendly and make us feel very welcome. Very good curry lots of choice, excellent value for money and very friendly staff, situated upstairs would not suit disabled people but they had highchairs so suitable for families friends couples, excellent choice of drinks too

Our Granddaughters 16th BirthdayThe family had a very enjoyable time at the Asia. The service was excellent, all the staff where very nice and helpful, we all had the banquet meals very tasty, and lots of food to eat,served hot,looked good plus tasted very nice. Everyone had a very nice time so Thank you Asia.
