The best value lunch and dinner in Europe. I think so. Run by the town's catering school, you receive superb food and service at bargain prices.

We try to find place for nice dinner on saturday night and Reading previous evaluation we decided to go in this place.
We where the only client.
We ask for bottle of wine and was available only local wine by glasses. Standard low level of food offer.
We decided to go out and looking for other place !

We stayed here in August this year on the campsite. The restaurant was on the site so we decided to go for a meal there. We had a lovely Slovakian meal very local and rustic.Service was good though it did close early but after a meal and a couple of beers we were ready for our bed.I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are ever in this part of Slovakia.

Reštaurácia má výbornú polohu na prízemí Europa Shopping Center vo Zvolene a svojim zákazníkom ponúka posedenie v príjemných priestoroch, šikovnú obsluhu a hlavne jedlá pripravované z kvalitných a čerstvých surovín. My experience: - excellent food, even daily menu is great - nice and attentive staff - very good cost/quality value Btw. I never had pizza there, but always food from menu card.

Whenever I'm back in town, I come here just for their savoury pancakes. Their pizza is also really good - certainly the best in the city (that's not that hard to achieve to be honest). Service usually lacks a little bit, but I come over here to eat, not to look at the service. Will try them again soon to see, if they still maintain the good standards :)

We stopped for lunch at Season Home Cooking quite by accident. We arrive in Zvolen and quite simply picked it because we were hungry. It has a nice location on a large square with tables out on the street. Lunch was surprisingly good. We both had salads (Caesar made at the table) and salmon, green beans, lettuce and potatoes. I also had the soup of the day which was goulash-like but lighter and not as filling. Service was efficient and friendly. The menu has English subtitles.
I would recommend this place for sure.

We were driving from vienna to poprad, and wanted to grab something top eat along the way. We saw the good reviews about this place so we drove there.
Reviews were true - great friendly place with very nice design and atmosphere, good food and good prices.
It was a great stop on our way.

Located just a short walk from Europa shopping centre, I tried it based on good reviews. Although we arrived around 12:30 the place was empty but we didn't mind. Very cosy place, vintage decor, nice music.
Photos here on trip ad. show shelves full of fresh bread which created false expectations. We found them to be empty. We asked what we could have for lunch and were kindly offered 3 alternatives a croissant or a choice of two paninis with different fillings, not freshly made but bought in. We were slightly disappointed with the small choice but since we were there we settled for the two paninis grilled. They were good and served with a little bowl of mustard and honey based sauce I guess. Cappuccinos were nice if you like them more milky and not so strong like my other half, and served in big mugs.
We were the only customers there for the whole 45mins, and I couldn't help not noticing tables (at least 3 from a total of 10 maybe) which all they needed were a quick wipe with a wet cloth to take away evidence of previous customers. Gents toilets clean overall but again since the staff was not (1) rushed of her feet she could check if the paper dispenser is full and the hand wash basin could do with a quick wipe around.
These are things you d excuse in a place that's buzzing and staff might be under pressure.
Since it's a place with little passing trade I feel they should be doing that little bit extra to win and keep their customers.

Excellent and beautifully decorated Italian pizza, which has a delicious taste, is perfectly prepared. In addition to pizzas, they offer excellent food, well prepared and also beautifully decorated. Higher level Restaurant. I recommend.

Come to house in evening, nice wood house, quick service, clean inside. Food was standard taste. Not perfect, not bad,just standard, price in midle level, quantity of food more as average. Just for stop during trip was good.
