Visited here after an early start to Colca Canyon. Wide choice of starters, mains and puddings to choose from. Good value (think it was less than 25 soles).

In August 2017 we had lunch at this restaurant. It is one of those restaurants where bus loads of tourists are brought in to have lunch. As part of the Colca Canyon tour by Giordino Tours, we had lunch at Wititi -- it was very good. It was a Peruvian buffet which included soups, an excellent trout ceviche, several versions of alpaca, pork and chicken, salads, including guacamole, veggies and some nice Deserts. Excellent value and all very tasty.

Great buffet lunch in Chivay, easy to miss the restaurant entrance though. Situated a few blocks from Casa Andina hotel. Lots of choices well cooked, friendly staff. Ask for a fresh Americano if you want a decent cup of coffee.

The food quality really surprised us. We came for pizza but were impressed by the traditional type dishes. The pizza was, in comparison, a bit of a let down (but ok). The Peruvian style 'cheese fondue' starter was delicious, but the highlight was the quinoa soup starter. This was worth the visit alone! Exceptional.

Quinoa is the restaurant of the Killawasi Lodge but is actually worth seeking out on its own. We ate there twice (three times if you include breakfast) and each meal was superb. We had panini, juice and coffee. All of them great, only downside that the service was a bit slow, although the people working there were really friendly.

I spend a couple months every year in the Colca Valley because I have an NGO that does work here. Yuri's restaurant in the plaza in Chivay is my favorite place to eat in the valley. The food is excellent. The menu is expansive. The place is charming and comfortable. You will be very happy with your meal, whatever you decide to try, from local dishes to familiar Italian entrees. And the people who run the place are the best. Enjoy!
