This Makguksu(buckwheat noodlge) restaurant used to be the best in this area, but have been compromised to mediocrity about 10 years ago for some reason I don't want to make known. There are better alternatives around, such as Yonggwangjong Makguksu and Saem Memilguksu.

This was a 2 min walk from our Spa Pension Basso. For 13,000-16,000 won you get a pasta (veg,meat,seafood) with light crisp garlic bread, crisp salad with homemade dressing, mushroom cream soup and dessert (ice cream, coffee, or tea). Loved that it was real Italian pasta...no Korean fusion (i.e. Pickles on the side). Pasta portions are huge. The tomato spaghetti was handmade with large sautéed tomatoes and garlic. Everything was wonderful and service was very friendly. We were a fam of 4 (kids 3 and 10). Kids could share one pasta meal.

This restaurant was located in Yangyang traditional market and famous in this area. The potato ongsimi was Korean traditional food like Hand-pulled Dough Soup. We ordered this food and Stuffed Squid, that's excellent. The texture of food was chewy, and the soup was good to us. Especially, the radish kimchi was the best. We enjoyed this food with satisfaction. Recommendable food.

막국수 새콤 달콤 맛깔나고 양념도 적당하게 매운 맛 입니다. 간단히 맛잇게 점심 먹을수 잇어서 좋앗어요~

친구가 알려 주어 간곳 인데 카페에서의 경치가 참 좋앗네요. 경치 보면서 맛있는 커피 한잔 할수 있어서 참 좋았어요~

My family visited this restaurant for lunch. I heard this restaurant had unique food, buckwheat and mussel noodles, so we decided to eat it. The atmosphere was clean and good, and the parking area was enough to park many cars. The food was unique and delicious. The noodles was a little spicy, and the mussel in soup was very big and delicious. Good food.

처음에 잡어 가격이 상당히 비싼느낌이었으나 실제로 메뉴가 나오고 나선 그생각이 사라졌습니다 처음에는 맑은 조개탕>해산물모듬>메인메뉴 모듬회>어죽>매운탕까지...실제 2인메뉴로 잡어 모듬회 소짜리가 8만원인데 사실 4명이 먹기에도 푸짐한 느낌입니다.

개인적으로 냉면을 그렇게 좋아하는 편은 아닌데 양양면옥 물냉면은 개운해서 꽤 맛있게 먹었던듯 ㅎ
TV에도 나왔던 맛집이라고 하네요~
다시 봐도 먹음직 ㅎㅎ

수요미식회에 나온 맛집으로 그래도 넓어서 웨이팅은 없고 메밀전병이 맛있다. 그리고 동치미육수가 맛있다.
