Good location, right in the centre of Wavre (aka close to the motorway crossing Belgium). Very friendly people. Food quite good, but not excellent. I was expecting more, based on Tripadvisor reviews. I would probably do it again as it is a nice place to stop, but without expectations of being wowed.

Service was very friendly and efficient.
The food was delicious. Fish was very very fresh.
The restaurant has a parking, which is very convenient.

Just passing through at lunch time, we stumbled upon this restaurant and were immediately convinced it would be good. The friendly reception, the delightful smell coming from the kitchen, the customers looking happy and chatty. We were not disappointed. Their fish and seafood is delivered...MoreThank you for your comment. See you next time...

This place is very well known in the region, so maybe my high expectations were the cause of my deception. The food was fine, but not as tasty as the fancy names and high prices on the menu suggested. For example, it was the first time in my life that I had truffle with almost no taste. Globally the main problem here was the low value-for-money.

Le Resto d'en Face

Reviewed By Emile_Grom - Brussels, Belgium

The food was tasty and well presented; the menu has a reasonable, but neither extensive nor very original choice of dishes; the wine list has something for every taste. The total cost for an evening meal reaches easily between 40 and 50 € per person.
The quality of the service was much more disappointing: at no point during the evening were we really made to feel welcome, on the contrary. Even though the place was not full, the waitress was not very forthcoming and she seemed sometimes annoyed when we hesitated while ordering. She was definitely annoyed when we failed to mention that one of the dishes we ordered was the one mentioned on the set menu and not the identically named one in the general menu ... One expects more warmth from the staff in a small and quite expensive restaurant on a not very busy evening !

Sweety Cup

I'm not normally into the whole cup cake thing but I was converted on my visit to Sweety Cup.
The gentleman serving us took his time explaining all the different flavours, there is so much choice it was difficult to chose just one - in the end we had a selection between the 3 of us and they were all gorgeous.
We also ordered hot chocolates during our visit, I think it was the deluxe option it came to the table as a large mug of hot milk and a side dish of dark button chocolates that you stir into your milk and then you add in the fresh whipped cream that comes in another little dish - it's a ceremony just making the hot chocolate but it adds to the fun. It also comes with a plain mini cup cake on the side.
The ambiance in Sweety cup is lovely, the owner & I think it's her husband are both very friendly & helpful and the range of cup cakes and crepes mean you may need more than one visit!!!
