On a short trip to Vrchlabi we were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch. Just a quick soup would do, we thought, not expecting much in a small town like this, but then we walked in this restaurant and our “light lunch” turned into a very pleasant, leisurely and very tasty experience. The décor is very nice with a large fish tank under the full length of the bar. The seats (semi-circular upholstered “enclosures”) are comfortable and giving the sense of privacy. As we arrived with our child, the push chair was taken care of by the staff and high chair brought to our table immediately. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was quick. The food was well presented, piping hot and tasty. The portions were good size but the child portion was too large for a child we thought.

We were happy to find this place with great czech food. All the dishes were delishes. There is also a playground for children outside, I can recommend this restaurant for families.

We'd forgotten to book anywhere and Mincovna squeezed the six of us in. What a great place with attentive staff, delicious food and some very tasty wines.

Waiter somehow didnt like us from the door step. After our question where he wanted us to sit, he answered that we have eyes so we see empty tables. Than he criticised our daughter food choice. He didn't like the fact that we were with kids so he started to scream at my husband when he followed our little daughter to the table next to us. She was quite, restaurant was empty, we waited 10 minutes for a water, but as he said children were not very welcomed! At the end we cancelled our order and went next door.
Fusion is expensive restaurant, especially if you consider size of the city. You would expect good service. Well, not in this place. Waiter was rude and extremely unpleasant. Never, ever again!

You must simply visit this cafè when you are in Vrchlabí! We love it with my wife. It's our favorite cafè for its atmosphere, designed interier and awesome coffee. The people who work there understand coffee, always have some nice cakes to offer and are simply nice and helpful. Payments only by cash.

Owner is friendly and good skilled, he's able to help you to choose a wine at your personal taste. He knows a lot of about wines. Good choice to discover moravian wines.
