Szyndzielnia Mountain

Reviewed By Polandjustnowdotcom - Warsaw, Poland

Beskid Mountains, which are springing up on the outskirts of Bielsko-Biala will provide an excitement to everyone, who is in mood for. There are many excellent trails and attractions like birds of prey-wildlife theme park. On the slopes of the Mount Barania are sources of Wisła (Vistula) River, the Queen of Polish rivers. Position of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in this mountainous region is stronger than anywhere in the country. Hit the trail with professional guide and reach Klimczok peak (1117 m high) by climbing from Bielsko-Biala. It will be easier, if you take a funicular railway, and make additional stop in Szyndzielnia Mountain Hostel.

This monument is great symbol of the city, as many might not know Bielsko is a place where numerous cartoons were born. Monuments are not big but placed in strict city centre and they do attract kids.

ZygZak Karting

It is an amazing place! Lots of fun for anybody, in any age! Anyone who likes motor sport and likes to drive, should go and visit that place.
Before going there, check on google maps how to get there as this place is hidden a bit (even though it is a city centre). It may not look very tempting from the outside, but once you see it from the inside...the circuit itself has two levels, it is big enough to have around 7 - 8 go-karts at the same time racing on it. Depending on your skills and luck, it takes from 60 to 80 sec to finish one lap (for some people even twice as much). People working on that circuit are professionals, who love that sport and care a lot about their visitors. Therefore you will receive a special training before you start racing, and while racing, you may see same flags as on a real circuit (including blue or black one). You can buy a special equipment on site. They also have a dedicated GoPro helmets, if you want to record your race. And once your race is finished, you can rest in an American-style restaurant, having a burger or a bottle of Coke. I absolutely do recommend that place!!!

Debowiec Ski

Debowiec is in Bielsko-Biała - that is for sure. Don't expect the best conditions as it is situated quite low and thus the 2013/2014 season was very poor, as with many places in the region.
For an after work ride it's good as it is well lit, in the city and there is free parking.

The church is a little bit... strange outside. The architecture is original but id depends on a taste of the person if it likes or not. Inside a littel bit austere but the place is worth to be seen. Outside, on the wall I found interesting sculpture - try to find it :-)
