This inn is very well located literally by the sea. The staff is very friendly; the rooms are clean although a bit small and several have a view on the sea. The restaurant serves simple but well prepared food. Prices in high summer season are a bit higher than expected.

You really need to stick to a few things here: one is the fish offer of the day and the other are the squid rings. Do not expect much if you diverge from these offerings. Prices are steep and service rather indifferent. But the Terrace is divine after a long walk on the north beach especially over a cold beer. The wine choice is nothing to write home about.

Proa has a great, well deserved, reputation. The chef Gustavo is a commercial fisherman turned restaurant owner/chef. I don't know how he was as a fisherman but he is a great chef! The staff is wonderful and outside dining is right on the beach. What a view! Another of my favorite restaurants.

Excelente opción para comer pastas caseras frente al mar. De entrada pedimos unas rabas, espectaculares, la porción exacta para dos personas. De plato principal lasagña de carne y sorrentinos con caruso, deliciosos!!!!!. Ambiente amigable, tranquilo y los precios súper razonables, pagamos por todo incluídos dos refrescos $ 1.100, volveremos.

At the corner of Cachimba y Faroles and Avda. Palafitos in Aquas Dulces, we found a friendly server, excellent homemade ravioles (I suggest the Mediterranean style which was the special when we were there.), papas fritas provencial (Yummy!!), and wonderful ambiance! We stopped by on a Sunday during the off-season and found this lovely spot to take a break as we headed to Montevideo after a working weekend. I can imagine it must be crowded in-season!!!!

Very uncomfortable seats. Good entertainment. Pizza was good. Waitress was mean. We made Reservations a day before. We showed up the next day and the Waitress told we were supposed to confirm.? Confirm Reservations in cabo polonio? really? Anyways. Better than cooking and cleaning

Probamos helados de diferentes sabores, ciruela roja, naranja y miel, "it coco" (coco y chocolate) Todos muy ricos. El local es sumamente acogedor. También ofrecen tortas, tartas y cervezas artesanales.

Fuimos a pasar Semana Santa a UY desde Argentina y escogimos Aguas Dulces. Nos encontramos con un lugar hermoso para disfrutar las comidas de la estadia. Platos super abundantes, precios medidos acorde a lo que consumimos y sobre todo excelente atencion y trato. Todo perfectamente cocinado a punto y comida de calidad. Lo recomendaria sin dudas.

Fuimos a almorzar tarde y nos recibieron muy bien. Pedimos la promoción de brasero el cual era bastante completo (mucho mejor que en otros lugares). Además mi ahijada pidió unas papas cuatro quesos que estaban riquísimas. Precios muy en cuenta.
