Der erste Blick auf die aushängende Speisekarte (noch geschlossen) ließ leider nicht tief blicken. Da man allerdings bei gut bürgerlicher Küche in Uelzen nichts findet, sind wir wieder zurück gegangen als geöffnet war. Jetzt fiel mir erst auf das beim Aushang "AUSZUG der Speisekarte" stand. Dieses sollte man dringend ändern, denn während unseres Aufenthaltes schauten viele dort nach und stellten fest, Schnitzel muss man nicht unbedingt haben; also mein Rat, vor dem Haus stehend links einen größeren Kasten anbringen mit allen Gerichten. Bedienung sehr freundlich und rege. Essen wie man sich denken kann frisch und gut.

Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung, leckeres Essen. Das Hallenbadrestaurant hat schon lange , zu recht, einen guten Ruf in Uelzen. Der Stil der Einrichtung ist eine kleine Zeitreise in die 80er, trotzdem schön.

Das Restaurant ist wirklich spitze. In so einer Ecke, auf dem flachen Land in der Lüneburger Heide, würde man diese Qualität an Speisen nicht vermuten.
Bei dem Essen stimmt alles, die Karte ist überschaubar, immer mit empfohlenen Weinen. Das Preisniveau ist etwas angehoben, aber passt genau zu den angebotenen Speisen.
Die Küche bemüht sich um Kreativität und serviert Menüs der Sonderklasse.

Whenever visiting my in laws we go to Zorbas as it is their favourite Greek restaurant. Booking is a must as the restaurant scene in Uelzen is limited. We always feel welcome and is kind of comforting there is a ritual/routine. You get a welcome ouzo, a salad, a shared pudding and a farewell ouzo for free. So you only have to order and pay for drinks and main. Food is good and the portions very, very generous.

A good place to stop for lunch and with very friendly staff. We had come to see the station and the menu of Lassig attracted us with some local dishes. We were both pleased at our choices and also being able to sit outside and watch the trains come and go through the station. The waitress was friendly, chatty and efficient and took time to explain dishes to me, enabling me to try a new dish.

We visited the Wiesen Cafe based on a recommendation of a local. Initially, we were a bit shocked about a bus unloading a lot of guests, but the cafe is large enough for at least one bus without squeezing in other guests. From the larger parking lot, you can enter the cafe area through a garden (be brave and enter it) and from the back side, but you may also use the smaller parking space directly before the cafe. The interior is in romantic rural style including a lot of different coffee pots. The personnel is friendly and helpful, offering you various cakes and types of coffee. Among others there, we complimented the cake, in particular the cloud cake - try it out. The coffee is nice. There is also a small store if you are interested in gifts and souvenirs.

Our first time in the first burger restaurant in Uelzen and we're really impressed!!!
They cook everything fresh and with love and you can taste it. Especially the homemade lemonades I recommend!
They've a big menu of different beers and ale's..., the location is quite industrial and unique in Uelzen.
So in conclusion: We'll come back and taste the menu to the end

Wir waren mit dem Wohnmobil auf dem Platz direkt vor dem Restaurant und gleichzeitig am schönen Sportboothafen und haben hier regelmäßig schön lecker und günstig gegessen. Die Außenterrasse wird immer gut mit Sitzkissen vorbereitet, so dass man auch im Oktober noch gut draußen sitzen kann. Am Samstag und Sonntag gibt es ab 9:00 Uhr Frühstück, sonst ist erst ab 11:30 Uhr geöffnet. Die Duschen und WC-Anlagen können von den Wohnmobilisten für 1,-€ pro Person genutzt werden. Sehr schöne Walking Wege runden das Angebot ab.
