We were told about this restaurant and their famous chocolate cake... The food was average to poor.... We ordered a salad, risotto and spaghetti with "Huancaina" sauce with "lomo" saltado.... The “lomo saltado” with the spaghetti was terrible. “Lomo saltado” was not “lomo” (lomo supposed to be Fillet stake), it was too hard and we couldn't eat it and the spaghetti was a step to be too bland. The Artichoke risotto was OK. Salad was OK too. Desserts we tried Oreo cheesecake, chocolate “tres leches” and chocolate cake. The fudge on the chocolate cake was nice, everything else was average to poor. Prices are not expensive and you get a lot... but is definitely not quality food. If you are around, just get the chocolate cake. (Plates are big enough for two)

Punta Hermosa rêve des surfers, est aussi à 30mn de Lima, la terre d'asile des penseurs gastronomes. Au loin les vagues et le spot le plus magique des Amériques; dans l'assiette des "chicharones de calamares" beignets de calamares FRAIS, dans un Resto avec vue sur mer et ouïe sur l'écume du temps qui souffle ses blanches bulles à l'annonce des ondes pacifiques. Restaurant très accueillant, propre, personnel attentif et une carte à faire pâlir les toqués du Michelin. Ceviche savoureux dans une ambiance créole avec Felipe Pinglo etc... Un super lieu où le patron de surcroît est exceptionnel. À ne pas manquer.

Ahora ya no se llama así, aunque sigue igual el local, lo q cambió creo q es su cocinero porque he comido ahí y la comida está fea y fría, el precio es demasiado.No lo recomiendo

DELICIOUS burgers. Cooked to perfection and the fried yellow potatoes are addictive. The best burger I have eaten in Peru. The service is also outstanding and I loved the atmosphere. It is a bit off the beaten path so you have to ask directions while in Punta Hermosa. Oh, and the vegetarians, the grilled veggie plater was amazing as well.

Cafe Punta Hermosa es un lugar rustico, super acogedor, que ahora en invierno también está abierto, y para el frío es lo máximo. En las tardes tienen presentaciones de grupos de reggae y de rock.
El café que venden es orgánico y tienen bolsas con tres tipos de café molido y tamibién lo venden entero en grano

This small and friendly restaurant is not pretentious but serves plain and straightforward family fare. Good pasta and surprisingly tasty desserts. I tried the most delicious seafood dishes. They have two fish family recipes that are too die for, one is called Pescado Mama Anita. We had ceviche, jalea, two fish dishes, a pasta with seafood (another special recipe) and a chocolate cake that was irresistible. You can have drinks too, the bar is open. Luky, the owner is very gracious and we were welcomed very professionally by Stefano.

Cuando andas por la playa, los antojitos por la tarde-noche no se hacen esperar, y que mejor si encuentras cerca un lugar donde te ofrecen una variedad de pizzas para calmar el paladar. Muy buena opcion para acompañar con una jarra de sangria y una buena conversacion.
