We enjoyed our dinner at Noe Sushi bar. The service and food was excellent except for the wine by the glass. They have a nice selection of wine on the wine list. Our service was excellent. 31 of December we were starving and the only restaurant open was this one! If you ask for the waiter LIZARDO LOOR who is such a nice waiter and attentive waiter. For appetizers we order maduro asado especial and canapés de Moritos a los cuatro quesos which was the highlight of the lunch because of the creamy cheese sauce and the greaseless bolon. Then for a main dish we order the Lomo puerto Moro who was huge and I suggest to split it with someone else.

Finally a great restaurant in Samborondon-Guayaquil. Located in the fashionable Plaza Lagos in Samborondon, this is in a real international gourmet restaurant. There is a wide list of appetizers and main courses, both fish and meat. I went for a fish menu and it was a great experience. I started with a very nice "carpaccio de atun" and I went on with a “simphonia de mariscos”. Both of them were excellent: fresh fish cooked and presented to the perfection. There is a nice combination of fusion cousin fully applied to local Ecuadorian ingredients. The result is pleasant and tastefully sophisticated. There is a wide list of wines. Service is impeccable and very professional. The only slight minor is the desert. I had a tiramisu which was very different from the real thing both in its appearances and taste. The place is expensive, but that should not come as a surprise, considering its standard and the location. Strongly recommended for special occasions and for either romantic meals or with friends. Certainly one of the best culinary experiences in Guayaquil.

Excelent bolones, the 1/2 mixed bolon is amazing! Great tasty typical food. The orange juice is great as well, natural fruit and not too sweet.

If you're expecting authentic Mexican food, you'll be sadly disappointed. The fact of the matter is that Ecuador is a hermetically-sealed country by high tariffs which make it difficult to import ingredients from Mexico. The owners simply wouldn't be able to have an affordable product.
Manage your expectations, and you'll find this to be an acceptable alternative. The service is slow, but the staff is pleasant. (They seem to be more interested in watching Television and chatting among themselves.)
Guayaquil is never going to be famous for its customer service or restaurants, but this one is a good one to consider if you're looking for something different.

There are two branches of this restaurant in Guayaquil. The one in Urdesa, and the one in Las Terrazas, Samborondón. This places offers the freshest, more variety, and better price than many other sushi´s restaurants.
In addition, some Japanese and Asian style dishes.
Nowadays, there are better places to eat sushi in Quito, than in Guayaquil. Ironically (being GYE a coastal city)

Plaza Lagos in Samborondon is an outstanding place to visit, and Carla y Carlo will make your experience even better with their food. The place is expensive, but the quality is impecable. You will not feel disappointed.

I went there last week with a group of friends. The restaurant is pricey but totally worth it. For those who want American Standards, they have imported meats that you can have rare-medium without worries. The sangria is amazing, and so are desserts. I highly recommend it!

What a great restaurant. Came here for a group dinner. Wait staff was very attentive. Food was delicious. I absolutely loved the plantain chips and aji. Very spicy and so delicious, I think we had them bring out 4 containers of it throughout the night. I had the tacu tacu, and it was very good, albeit quite filling. Would definitely stop in again if I was in the area.
