Sushisan

When we arrived there was a queue to get in, the restaurant is relatively small and so it can get quite noisy. But the wait is definitely worth it. The staff are friendly and ready to give suggestions. The buffet platter is very well plated, beautiful to the eye - but most importantly the sushi amazing. You can taste the freshness and the flavours used will have you asking for more - and they´ll bring you more, you need just ask. I didn´t try the red fruit sangria but have heard wonders about it. The buffet includes Miso soup but not your drinks. buffet costs €13,90 at lunch so you´ll pay between €16 to €25 per person depending on what you have to drink. This is definitely a place you´ll want to visit.

Restaurante Bugalho

We liked so much this restaurant, we initially thought to give it the maximum rating; but then we remembered we had spent a little less for a similar place in Lisbon (Churrascaria la Paz), while Sacavem is a small town, whose main attraction is probably that of not being far from Lisbon.
First, the service: the man only spoke Portuguese, which we do not understand; but in spite of this, we communicated very well. He was incredibly friendly, attentive to our needs, amusing at times; especially at the beginning, when we were almost the only customers, but still…we’ve never met a person like him, in any of the many restaurants we’ve visited in Portugal.
Then the food: I had a preparation of bacalhau (codfish), made in the form of a cake with cheese etc; very good; my wife had a perfectly grilled grouper; then fresh cherries, a quarter of excellent house wine. Total: 21 Euro

The service was really friendly, the price of the cakes and cookies was totally affordable. After I ate an amazing slice of chocolate and raspberry cake, I decided it must be my wedding cake too ;)I have to agree with you: the chocolate and raspberry mousse cake is out-of-this-world! Totally worthy of a wedding :)

Difficult to find but we loved the food. We had bacalhau gratinado com bechamel e espinafres and it was absolutely divine. For dessert, the chocolate cake was a bit dry but tasty. Some of us eat meat and it was also good. Helpful staff. It is very small so if you're in a big group, call first.

My partner and I enjoyed a great meal here. Sonia and Pedro, the owners, were very welcoming and hospitable. Pedro talked us through the menu and explained all of the dishes. We ended up getting a selection of meats and cheese to start, followed by the black pudding and steak and quails egg toasts- all of which were delicious. I was even allowed to try the wine before choosing. Great value for money- the food, wine, beer and water came to about €33. Will definitely return if we visit Lisbon again.

Outra Loica

The restaurant serves Portuguese and Indian dishes. The quality is there and it's a great option for something different. Plus it's one of the few restaurants in Lisbon that can cater for halal food, but you must specify that you want halal when ordering.
Located in a residential area, it's well away from any touristic spots, therefore you will need a special trip there, but not too far away from the airport area.

Working nearby, this is a good place to go for lunch. The service is good, the staff is friendly and the pizzas are very good. I am particularly fond of the Diavola with spicy sausage.
I can definitely recommend Forneria, the pizzas rival anything I have had elsewhere in Lisbon.
