We almost didn't try this place as we were looking mainly for a meal for our 4 and 8 year olds, as this place looked like a cafe (which it is basically). However we could have lentil soup, rich vegetable salad, pizza : all freshly prepared and tasting like mama's food. A house specialty chocolate desert was an extra treat for the little ones.

Went to travel to north of Israel, found the place in TripAdvisor with good reviews! Disappointing experience... I ordered chestnut ravioli in rose sauce, my husband ordered medallion steak! Steak was ok 200g of meat but for sure wasn't worth 41$/150 shekels :( and I got ravioli in creamy sauce but I ordered in rose sauce when I told waiter about it he replied:"but creamy sauce is better"! I didn't ask you which sauce is better lol

My extended family and I were guests at the restaurant for dinner.
This is a chef's restaurant, not kosher, which is located at Mizpe Hayamim Hotel.
When we arrived at the restaurant, the table was waiting for us.
The waiters welcomed us with a smile and led us to the table.
We tasted several appetizers that were served to the center of the table.
We really enjoyed the beetroot and soft cheese terrine, the fresh root vegetable salad and mushroom risotto.
The main courses were also delicious and I could recommend the fish fillet and the organic duck.
The dishes are not very large, but satisfying and served in an aesthetic and impressive way.

Used TA to pick this restaurant for dinner. Located in a hotel of the same name.. Very pleasant ambiance and attentive service. English menu available for the nicely varied selections. We shared chicken livers & onions, & chicken schnitzel both with sides, vanilla ice cream. Recommend. Hope this helps.

We had lunch at the restaurant, by recommendation of one of the shopkeepers in the shopping area.
The location on the main road is OK, assuming you find parking (not provided).
The Terrace has some good breeze and view.
The staff is tired, unpleasant, and slow.
The food was sad. The omelette I had was shameful - a pathetic slab of lifeless yellow matter ... we were served a loaf of bread which was actually not bad, but had to ask for the butter although is was supposed to be a part of the meal.
All in all - there are much better places around there. Keep walking.

The restaurant is placed on a horse ranch in the middle of the forest with an amazing view towards the Hula Valley,Golan Heights and Mt. Hermon. Went there to wrap up a lovely holiday weekend with my wife. We had been there before and had fond memories of the steaks and atmosphere. Both are still excellent. The delicious mushroom in cream ,and hunters soup which was with beef and beans as well as the draft beer in glass boots were much appreciated surprises. Will return.

We arrive to this restaurant by searching the "Waze" application for a meat restaurant.
The restaurant is located in the old city of Rosh Pina (some 150 years ago) in a reconstructed building (the house of the village's doctor , who was called Dr. Rafa).
Upon our arrival we were welcomed with warm and quick service.
We ordered steaks, which were found to be great.
We left this restaurant with happy smiles and full stomach.
So, if you are nearby Rosh Pina, and would like to eat a good meat, do not hesitate and go there.
You will thank me later.

The food was good and tasty, but not exceptional. The service attentive but not extraordinary although the manager came to check a couple of times, a nice touch. So nothing bad and I certainly would recommend it especially for those who observe kashrut.
However this restaurant used to be exceptional. It's been at least four years since I last ate there on an every few month basis. Regretfully I did not review it at the time but it would have been ranked a five each time for sure. Now the steak was OK, but of usual supermarket grade - my entrecote had some gristle. The meat before melted in your mouth and was of superlative quality. The taste, presentation and preparation of the dishes was good, but it used to be creative, unique and what you'd get from a top chef - now it's just acceptable. It used to be "Fine Dining" now it's "Mid-Range" for a steakhouse.
That being said - the price was most reasonable (being before 5 PM we profited from the business menu).
I look forward if the clientèle market permits for Meatbalim to return to it's former self!
